The holiday home is situated on a hillside overlooking the Moselle River and the town of Cochem with its Reichsburg Castle. Behind the house lies a large, fully fenced garden with a lawn. A large deck with Douglas fir decking offers space for all guests; in addition to a dining table and chairs, there are also lounge chairs for sunbathers. The house itself has three double bedrooms and one single bedroom, so it can accommodate up to seven people. On the upper floor are two double rooms and one single room; the rooms are themed: the Roman room has a view of the castle, as does the girls’ room, while the African room has windows facing the Moselle. An in-room safe is available. On the upper floor is a bathroom with a bathtub and shower. Bed linens, towels, and dressing gowns are provided. On the living floor, there is a well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, ceramic cooktop, oven, coffee maker, electric kettle, and toaster, as well as various kitchen utensils. For smaller groups, the kitchen is also a great place to have breakfast, as it features a bar table with four comfortable bar stools. For larger groups, the large dining room table with matching chairs and a bench is ideal. The dining room also features various cabinets and sideboards, some of which are antiques and others colonial-style furniture. A cosy upholstered sofa set completes the living room furnishings. A stereo system, cable TV, and Wi-Fi are available free of charge. A small balcony with a view of the Moselle offers a shady spot during the summer months until the afternoon. For sun-seekers, there is a large patio with a table and six chairs, as well as two lounge chairs—all with matching cushions. In the basement—which is at ground level due to the property’s slope towards the Moselle—there is a modern double bedroom and a second bathroom with a shower and a bathtub featuring a whirlpool function. Underfloor heating has been installed for the winter months. The utility room behind the living areas is equipped with a washing machine and a dryer, which are also available to guests free of charge.
