Why they chose this property
Total serenity, yet accessible year-round and a short drive to a multitude of nearby attractions and adventures such as hiking and backpacking in the backcountry, gold medal fishing on the Rio Grande and Conejos rivers, 4 wheel drive passes, skiing at Wolf Creek, and excellent Elk, mule deer, black bear, and turkey hunting in game units 80/81.
What makes this property unique
Both cabins are just over a year old, built with impeccable local Amish craftsmanship. The top-of-the-line solar system is several hundred yards from the cabins so you will never be bothered by the back-up generator automatically kicking on when necessary. They sit on 70 acres of private property and are almost entirely surrounded by public land. There is a well-built horse corral, and large pasture available for hunters' stock or trail riders. There's also plenty of room to park your horse or atv trailers.
