The owners were great about communication and were accommodating. They had kayaks and had them select out for us which made for a great day at the lake. Nice fire pit , wood was all ready for use. The deck was great and they had a blackstone griddle which made for some great meals. Inside the beds were comfortable. The ac units were able to keep everything cool and comfortable. Living room was great and the one recliner made for fantastic napping. Overall the property was awesome and we had a great long weekend.

We stayed here for a weekend getaway and it did not disappoint! The pictures do not do this place justice. The kitchen had cookware and utensils, the bedroom and living room were comfortable and everything was clean! The best part was the deck and overlook of the lake. Watkins Glen and Seneca Lake are within half an hour. We will definitely be staying here again!

We spent a week at the lake house and hope to return there every summer. The house is in excellent condition, and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Susanna is a wonderful host and was quick to reply to our messages. She even had a special welcome gift and treats when we arrived as well as coffee set up. The beautifully decorated living area is large with plenty of room for 4-6 people, and the bathroom is newly remodeled. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We loved sitting in the chairs near the water and burning a fire with the wood provided. The spacious deck included two nice grills and plenty of outdoor furniture. This was a most relaxing vacation, and we enjoyed watching the sunrise and the boats on the lake. The temperatures in July were perfect, and the AC worked great. Covered parking was a bonus. There is plenty to see within short driving distances, as well as sample the phenomenal local ice cream!

Our family has enjoyed this lake house for years. Enjoy sitting at the fire pit, kayaking the lake or touring the local towns, there are plenty of activities to help unwind. Minutes from Hammondsport, Penn Yan and Watkins Glen where you will find some of the friendliest restaurants and wineries.

Why they chose this property

Waneta Lake is a smaller lake with easy access to Keuka and Seneca Lakes.

What makes this property unique

Our lake house is just the right size for a small group and offers an oversized deck looking directly over the lake. We have walk in lake access which includes full access to our boat dock. In addition to the lake house, our property offers a full camper/RV hookup area. For an additional fee, you can bring your friends and still enjoy personal space.
