We are from San Diego. Janie grew up in San Diego and Alan was stationed at Camp Pendleton in the mid 90's. We raised 4 kids and have 3 grandkids.

I chose this neighborhood because it’s a quiet, easygoing part of Blackfoot with the convenience of full city services. My grandson lives here, so it made sense on a personal level as well.
Blackfoot has a great small-town feel, but there’s still plenty going on—especially around Jensen Grove Park with community events and fireworks. The Snake River running through town adds to the scenery, and the Eastern Idaho State Fair is always a highlight.
Overall, it’s a calm, welcoming area with just enough activity to make it enjoyable.
