Escape to a charming Swiss Chalet-style retreat nestled in a quiet cove on the lake—the perfect destination for families looking to balance adventure with relaxation. This lakefront villa offers a private, meandering path directly to the water, ideal for morning fishing or a sunset swim.

The Ultimate Waterfront Experience
Everything you need for a day on the lake is included. Launch from the community boat ramp or take out the six provided kayaks (four adult, two youth) to explore the peaceful shoreline. If you’re looking for more speed, Baxter Marina is just 10 minutes away for boat rentals.

Spacious Outdoor Living
Dual Level Decks: Enjoy coffee on the lower deck or gather around the gas fire pit on the upper deck for s'mores.

Gourmet Grilling: Cook up a feast on the premium Weber Genesis gas grill, Big Green Egg, or even a Blackstone while soaking in the views.

Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Clean out fridge and take trash out. 2 cans right across from front door on the other side of the street.
Take all used towels and put in the bedroom downstairs in front of the washer.
Turn off all lights, lock doors, and return keys.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

It was a very nice lake home! Worth the price ! The walk to the water wasn’t too long, but too hard to carry and get kayaks to the water. The games for kids were fun for all ages. The golf cart rides were a big hit!

We really enjoyed this property and location. The house was clean and spacious and provided the basic amenities and then some! We really enjoyed the lake access and kayaks. We used the decks daily during our stay. We were willing to and travelled to surrounding areas to experience places we wouldn't normally be close to, so the location for us was great for that. We would love to stay here again.

Beautiful cabin in a quaint lake front subdivision and plenty of space with comfortable beds. The trail to the lake is really well kept, it’d be a ton of fun in the summer.Only downside was slow(ish) internet but the kids really enjoyed the game room in the basement.

We are Southwest Missouri locals with a lifelong passion for the lake. After spending years enjoying the water and the natural beauty of this area, we decided to open our doors to fellow lake-lovers. This is our sixth year in this wonderful neighborhood, and our goal is to ensure every guest experiences the same sense of 'home' and relaxation that we feel every time we pull into the driveway.

Why they chose this property

We were immediately drawn to the unique character of this neighborhood—it feels like stepping into a classic lakeside retreat with all the beautiful A-frame chalets. It’s a place where neighbors are genuinely friendly and the atmosphere is incredibly inviting. Because there is only one way in and one way out, the roads stay quiet and peaceful, making it a very kid-friendly environment. Plus, having community boat ramp access right here makes getting onto the water completely effortless.
