About the host

Your host

Host profile image
Mark and I have lived in many areas of the United States. He is originally from Pennsylvania and I am from Kansas, where we met many years ago. We are retired, have three children with wonderful partners and three beautiful granddaughters. Originally this was a family compound, but as our children grew older with more responsibilities, they weren't able to spend as much time here. That's why we decided to share it with others.

Why they chose this property

We live in a beautiful, lush (in the spring and summer) wooded area. Originally we bought our place as a get away to enjoy hiking, fishing and huntings. We are surrounded by hiking trails and beautiful areas to explore.

What makes this property unique

Our rental property is decorated, supplied and as comfortable as our own home. Having been disappointed by many rentals where we stayed, we decided ours had to be like home. We believe--and our reviews prove--we have achieved that goal.
