The owner has really thought through everything you will need for a stay. The house was pristine clean, comfortable and really peaceful. We enjoyed the back patio and yard, as did our dogs. We had to extend our stay as we were in town to care for a family who was hospitalized. The house was convenient to the hospital, several stores and restaurants while also being in a quiet neighborhood. It was perfect for us. We appreciate the care, and would not hesitate to book it again when in El Paso.

Great comfortable house, especially enjoyed the back yard for our dog. House was safe and secure. Great location for the area and close to many places we visited. The only issue that could be upgraded would be the speed of internet. Wanted to stream our game and it lagged behind. So we had to go and find an establishment to watch our game. No big deal just an opportunity to improve. Thank you for letting us use your home. Would definitely stay here again.

So happy you and your dog enjoyed our house and found the location convenient. I appreciate your feedback on the Wi-Fi and will work on improving it. BTW, would you happen to know where one of the curtain ties may have been left? I cannot find it.

About the host

I’m a happily married father of three wonderful daughters and an IT professional with more than 25 years of experience. Family is very important to me, and whenever work allows, we love traveling and creating memories together. I’ve spent my entire life between El Paso and Ciudad Juárez, and I truly appreciate the culture, warmth, and sense of community on both sides of the border. Hosting gives me the opportunity to share a little of that hospitality with others and help guests feel at home while visiting our city.

Why they chose this property

I chose this neighborhood because it offers the perfect balance of convenience, comfort, and tranquility. I live in this house for 20 years, and I am proud of it. What I enjoy most is how peaceful and welcoming the area feels while still being close to everything visitors may need. It’s a great place to relax after exploring the city or crossing into the vibrant border region.

What makes this property unique

This home is special. It has warmth and an authentic character combined with practical comfort for families and travelers. The house blends Southwestern and Mexican-inspired touches with bright living spaces, a cozy fireplace, and a large shaded backyard that’s perfect for relaxing or grilling after a long day. Unlike many rentals that feel generic, this home was lived in and cared for by our family for years, so it has a welcoming and personal atmosphere.
