We stayed at Blue Dragonfly House during our road trip through Costa Rica. One of the reasons we came to the country was to connect with Costa Rica’s local art community and to experience its beautifully preserved nature. The house was a wonderful place to stay while exploring the area.My wife and I are both artists, so we naturally pay attention to interiors wherever we travel. The interior, furniture and artwork are thoughtfully chosen, creating a calm and elegant atmosphere.In the mornings I enjoyed swimming in the lap pool. The counter-current system is fantastic and made it possible to have a proper workout.We spent time in Playa Hermosa, but one of our favorite discoveries was nearby Playa Panamá, where we found long stretches of beach with almost nobody around. It was exactly the kind of peaceful Pacific coastline we were hoping to experience.We rarely say we’ll return somewhere, because we like discovering new places. Blue Dragonfly House is one of the few exceptions. We’d be thrilled to stay here again.
