Are you looking for a special holiday home right next to the dike? Then you’ll feel right at home in our Deichhus. Our holiday home, featuring a total of 5 holiday apartments (non-smoking), combines Frisian tradition with modernity. The “Oland” and “Hooge” apartments offer a magnificent view over the dike to the Wadden Sea, an UNESCO World Heritage Site. All apartments have been furnished with great attention to detail.

No matter what month you choose to holiday here, the North Sea has its own charm in every season. And whether you’re a fan of long walks or bike rides—with or without your dog—want to stay active, or simply want to enjoy the sun, the sea, and the healthy North Sea air, the Deichhus is the ideal holiday home for the best weeks of the year.

All of our apartments were freshly renovated and modernised in May 2018. Starting now, you can book rooms at Haus Hemenswarft for a 2-night getaway.

LOCATION & PROPERTY
The house features a large, natural property with a small pond. In addition to benches, a barbecue area with its own barbecue pavilion invites you to linger. So if the weather isn’t cooperating, you can sit out of the elements.

The little ones have a sandpit and a swing set to play with in the garden. Or how about just having a football match on the large property?

The “Sielzug” canal runs right next to our garden. It’s a dream come true for families who love to fish.
