Great location for getting into the city, but not in a desirable neighborhood, Lots of run down properties in the neighborhood and graffiti. Was told later by a local SD resident that City Heights was not the best area. The house was very clean. However the original listing mentions a fully equipped kitchen, but it had no dishwasher. The outdoor area had no seating for outside dining. The worst part, which the host has no control over, was the rooster crowing very loudly every 10 seconds at about 5:30 am each morning. Bring noise canceling headphones or a brown noise machine. The host had to mention many times to us that parties were not allowed, even though the original listing already mentioned that. That was reiterated to us via voicemail and the VRBO messaging app as well. Somehow me and my son were flagged as party animals. It was a little disconcerting. Would probably not stay here again.
