About this property

4 Minute Walk to Nauset Beach

Summary:

Unique Nauset Heights home with lookout deck, Full AC, & 250 yards to Nauset Beach

The Space:

This home is represented by Nauset Rental, a local vacation rental management company.

Are you looking for a classic Cape Cod home in the Nauset Heights area of Orleans for your next Summer vacation? Then look no further because we have the PERFECT home for you & it's just moments away from Nauset Beach! Nauset Lookout offers water views of the Atlantic Ocean, a spacious interior & nostalgic vintage vibes. As an added perk, delicious eats from Nauset Farms, The Barley Neck Inn, Whisk Cafe & The Rail are just a short car ride away.

The main floor of the home is full of natural sunlight that showers in from an abundance of windows. Tall, vaulted ceilings in the living area surrounded by wood walls & beams, make the large open space the spot to be! The fully equipped kitchen has all the necessities you could need for preparing dinner and then grilling it up on the gas grill outside. Whether it's burgers & hotdogs, fresh caught local fish or ribeye steaks, somehow your dinner will just taste better when it is enjoyed outdoors on the expansive back deck. After dinner, curl up on one of the cozy couches in the living room and read one of the many books from the bookshelves or gather the family around the oversized dining table and play a board game. The possibilities are endless.

One of the bedrooms on the main floor offers a king bed & "wall of glass" windows. If waking up early to warm Summer sunlight is too bright for you, pull the full length curtains shut and sleep in a bit longer. Boasting a queen bed & private access to the wrap-around deck, the second bedroom on the main floor is a cozy spot to ride out a rainy Cape Cod afternoon. Both the bedrooms on the upper level share a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo. The lower level of the home is the perfect spot for the kids in your group. One bedroom allows for the option of a  "split king" when the two twin beds are pushed together. The additional bedroom on the lower level accommodates sleeping for four with a queen bed & twin bunk beds. A full sized bathroom with stand-up shower rounds out the lower level of the home.

Additional perks to the home are an enclosed outdoor rain shower, washer/dryer, a reading library, mature garden landscape & mid-century artwork. This vintage Cape Cod home offers has many things that set it apart from others in the area (especially its proximity to Nauset Beach!). An abundance of memories with your family & friends could be made in this beautiful Nauset Heights home. Do not let the opportunity to have a magical Summer pass you by!

Nauset Beach North is a short four minute walk from the house. There is a gorilla beach wagon in to transport all your beach toys!

This place was excellent.

The house reminded of a ski lodge with a nautical tone to it. It slept my friends and I very comfortably and we really enjoyed the spacious living room. The fire place was also a nice touch. Very Cape Cod-esque. Would definitely rent here again.

Incredible stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at the house!. The house/location are absolutely lovely. It's a very short walk to an incredible beach, which itself receives very little traffic from other tourists. The house has many games and a great music system, which makes for a fun stay on a rainy cape cod day. Kent (the owner) was also a joy to work with. I'd highly recommend the property to anyone looking for a nice time in the Cape!!

Nice place, clean, plenty of kitchen items, great AC in all rooms, great location, well landscaped, older house that needs some work (e.g. expanding awning, outdoor lights, taped door screens). But no big issues, overall very good, we'd go again as location, size, cost were all excellent.

Great Location

Great rental property with fantastic views of Nauset Beach. Very close to main beach and a quick trip into town for anything you may need. The house itself has plenty of space and is laid out smartly. It worked out very well for our group of five and I am sure it could hold more people with the number of bedrooms and pull-out couches. The house also has very nice outdoor space with a wrap around porch and upper decks for terrific views of the outer beach. All and all we had a great experience and would recommend the property highly. Justin- New Fairfield CT

Fabulous place

Organizing a place to stay for a large group can often be difficult however this was not the case here. Kent and Nicole were always available and responsive through email to answer any concerns or questions I had. It was my first time travelling to Cape Cod so I particularly liked how they sent information about things to do and places to visit around town. The house itself was beautiful and very well equipped with all that we needed. Some of the rooms are pretty cool and we made full use of the kitchen and huge dining area. My favorite part about the house is how close it is to the beach. You can see it from the upper deck - which I will add is another perk! We didn't get the best of weather when we travelled down but we imagined how great the deck would be with a little sun. The poor weather meant we had to stay inside quite a bit, but none of us were bothered by that considering the house had plenty of board games, a piano and a TV to keep us entertained. I would happily book this place again!

Charming Character Filled Ocean View Summer Rental

This vacation rental was a really cool, interesting house, in a fantastic location! We had great views of the ocean from the main living area, master bedroom and all the amazing outdoor decks. The beach was a very short stroll along a private road, and it was great for any of the family to come and go so easily. After the beach, cleaning up in the outdoor shower was really nice and kept sand out of the house too. The house was clean and well maintained, and filled with character and charm, with great books, music, puzzles & art, and we loved this - especially with a rainy day in the week. Everyone was comfortable, and while the bedroom off the main living area did get a little warm, due to unusually hot sunny days and 3 walls of glass, we got the hang of the best way to cool things off & all slept well. The neighborhood was lovely, and quiet enough to hear the surf at night; a real treat adding to our enjoyment of being so close to the beach. We loved the location – close to the beach and to some of our favorite Cape eateries. We lunched at Nauset Farms & had dinner at BNI (our favorite), the Knack (great burgers) and other Orleans staples, such as Land Ho, plus amazing breakfasts at Hole in One. We visited other nearby towns and beaches, and we really had a great, relaxing vacation. We were so pleased that Kent allowed us to bring our low impact dog, and she was clearly very comfortable and at home. Kent was very efficient and responsive, plus helpful and patient with all my many questions, also providing a linen service for us that worked well - one less thing to pack! I would love to rent this house again in summer or any season; this house would be a great place to be any time of year. I would recommend this house to anyone!
