Italy/Switzerland vacation

Our first time in Italy and we loved our stay at Villa Ridente. Tom was wonderful and responsive. Beautiful area and beautiful views of the city from this home.

Great host-but terrible odor

Our host, Tomasso (Tom), was the nicest man and very helpful. He helped us around arranging a wonderful tour guide, made reservations for us, and helped us throughout our 1-night stay. Unfortunately, the home had a severe odor. When we arrived it was noticeable, and the doors were open from the cleaning crew. Once the doors were closed, it was bad. We could taste it. We didn't say anything because we were leaving immediately the next day, but wow, that smell was strong. Sorry Tom, but thank you for your hospitality.

Great Location

Lovely property with the most amazing sunsets. The location was perfect for our family to explore the Tuscany Region. Tom was super helpful with our check in process as well as following up to make sure everything was good. Would definitely stay here again thank you

Fantastic location, charming character and gracious host!

Such a charming home with beautiful views of Florence located just 20mins from the main attractions in Florence. Also, closely accessible (10min walk) to adorable restaurants, bakery and convenience store. Thomas was a kind and gracious host - very flexible as our flights were cancelled multiple times and our dates shifted at the last minute. Thomas was very accessible and gave us wonderful recommendations for eateries, markets and places we could find the things we need. Thomas even provided a welcome bottle of wine chilled and ready for is after a long day of travel! We traveled with 3 young children (ages 4-8) who loved the dipping pool during a historic heat wave in Italy. We had an amazing time and enjoyed this home very much. We will be back very soon!
