La Piazzetta is part of a magnificent villa built in the second half of the XVII century in the hills between Florence and Fiesole. In the 1970s it underwent a complete restructuring and is now a totally independent and charming house with its own entrance, terrace, garden and pool. Five years ago it underwent another complete refurbishing. It has central heating, air conditioning, wifi and satellite TV connection. The living room, terrace and pool command breath-taking views of Fiesole and Florence from the Duomo to the hills of Impruneta. The house sits in a garden of olive trees and cypresses and from May to October you can enjoy all fresco dining in the terrace overlooking this beautiful panorama. The city center (Piazza della liberta) is 15 minutes away (6.4 Km) by car or 20 Minutes by bus. The bus stop for bus 25 is 800 meters from the house. This stunning location allows you to visit the busy city centre and its art treasures and twenty minutes later retreat to this peaceful garden to enjoy the pool amongst the olive trees.. The house itself is on two levels. On the first floor there is a living room, 2 bedrooms with a double bed each and a bathroom with a shower. Downstairs, a big kitchen with a table and six chairs can double as a dining room. There is also a bedroom and a bathroom with a bath tub as well as a separate laundry space. Outside a terrace will welcome you with a table and chairs for six. Please note there are 20 steps to get from the terrace to the pool. In the garden, the pool and sun deck amongst olive trees is equipped with umbrella and lounge chairs. We ask that you have the house cleaned once a week and the bed linen changed.
