Penthouse Amendola is a tastefully renovated, exclusive holiday home for a maximum of 10 guests. It is perfect for a large family or a group of friends. Explore the cultural treasures of Florence together.
Thanks to its central location on the edge of the historic center, you can reach the Duomo, other famous sights, elegant shopping streets and top Florentine restaurants in just a few minutes walk.
The beautiful penthouse apartment is located on the 5th floor of a building in the style of Italian rationalism and can be reached by elevator except for a few steps in the entrance area.
If you come by car, there is a public underground parking directly across the street or, even better, only about 200m away, a paid garage that can be reserved in advance..

A bright and spacious living-dining room awaits you in the 180m2 large, elegant holiday apartment. The large window front provides a magnificent view of the cathedral. A nice sitting area invites you to linger. From here there are a few steps leading to the living and TV room on the rooftop terrace level. The 110m2 terrace has two nice dining and sitting areas, with magnificent "almost" all-round views of Florence. On the western side, the silhouette of the cathedral, “il Duomo” can be seen above the roofs, as well as the bell tower of Santa Croce. On the opposite side, the view sweeps far into the surrounding green hills and Fiesole.

The rooftop terrace, equipped with oleander, bougainvillea and many green plants, invites you to relax after a day full of impressions. Enjoy the magical panorama and let the day end with a glass of Chianti and the anticipation of the next day.

This was a terrific property for a long family stay. Our party was 6 adults and 2 infants and there was plenty of sleeping and relaxing spaces. The large terrace was a very welcome space. The location is good. It's adjacent to the historic center. We walked everywhere.

Perfect location!

Easy walk to the city center and attractions, but away from the hustle and bustle. In a small neighborhood with all you need within a very short distance. Pictures do not do it justice! Rooftop terrace with great view was a perfect spot to enjoy the sunset. We would definitely stay again on our next trip to Florence!

The apartment was beautiful and in a perfect location close to a bus stop that afforded easy access to the rest of the city. There was an elevator that made getting up the six flights of stairs so simple for suitcases and older guests who had trouble walking. Beautiful terrace and living room, spacious dining area, fully equipped kitchen.

Family traveling party

Our traveling party if 10, from ages 18-88, thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful property. Penthouse Amendola was a fabulous place to stay with astonishing views of Florence from the outdoor garden space. It was located within a short walk of several of the main attractions and restaurants. Would highly recommend this property to anyone traveling with a large group.

Beautiful view and terrace

This property is beautiful! It is very spacious and was perfect for our extended family. We loved sitting around the large dining room table and on the terrace. The views are stunning and the terrace is huge and wraps around allowing for multiple views of Florence. The bathrooms are very large for European standards and felt newly remodeled. The location is great and we walked everywhere. The host was very helpful with recommendations and communicating. I would highly recommend this property.

Penthouse Amendola is a fabulous apartment. Great location within walking distance of Duomo Complex and museums. Views of Brunelleschi's Dome from the apartment. The outdoor terraces are wonderful. Host was responsive and helpful to me as I had questions planning our trip. Highly recommend!!

Family trip to Firenze

It is rare that the accommodations actually become one of the highlights of a trip. With is property, that was the case. The apartment was immaculate and so comfortable. The hosts could not be more accommodating, especially with the children. However, the views were indescribable. We could ourselves saying why sit in a cafe when we could have wine at the most lovely rooftop terrace in the city. Thank you so much for everything.

Destination Wedding

Perfect location for easy access to all forms of transportation! Less than 10 minute taxi ride from the train station, bus stop right around the corner for sightseeing tours, or 15 minute walk to most museums and easy access public parking for our rental car right across the street. Less than 30 minutes to the airport! Communication with the owner and local property manager were seamless and questions or concerns were quickly addressed.. The apartment was beautiful, the pictures don’t do it justice ! Sunsets from the rooftop patio are magical! My only suggestion for improvement? An ice cube tray for the freezer.( yes a crazy American, who can’t get their drinks cold enough😆)!

We were a group of eight adults and had a wonderful stay. The apartment was spacious and thoughtfully designed, with comfortable shared areas and well-appointed bedrooms and bathrooms. The terrace was a perfect spot to unwind after a day exploring Florence. One evening, instead of dining out, we hired Chef Simone Del Cima for a private Tuscan dinner. His carefully curated menu featured the freshest local ingredients and was perfectly suited to our tastes. The meal was not only delicious but made for a truly relaxing and memorable experience. We highly recommend both the apartment and Chef Simone.

The penthouse is beautiful , very spacious and comfortable, beautiful terrace and furnitures, we had to take a taxi to places due to heat and humidity in June but only a 20 min walk to big shopping places. Steps away from some nice restaurants, small boutiques and a grocery store Coop. Highly recommend.

Stunning & Spacious Apartment!

Six family members stayed in this beautiful penthouse apartment for six nights as part of a trip celebrating an 80th birthday. It's very spacious with plenty of room to spread out, very clean, comfortable and has large bedrooms with huge windows providing amazing views. We loved the beautiful outdoor spaces which offered views of the city center as well as the hills from the other side. The bathrooms and kitchen are modern and the apartment overall has so much charm and character. The apartment is on the top floor of a quiet building, has an elevator and is located about a 15 minute easy walk to the city center and main attractions. The surrounding neighborhood offers great restaurants, bakeries, shopping and a grocery store. If you are considering this property, stop looking and book it! It exceeded our expectations and if I return to Florence again one day I would stay here again. Thank you Ingrid, Anna and Carolina, we had an amazing trip.

Perfect holiday

Everything from location, cleanliness, size for our family, amenities, comfortable beds was perfect! I would return to this rental when I come back to Florence! The patio was a bonus and the views on NYE of the fireworks was a bonus!
