This property and the owners are truly amazing!!! We booked for my wife's birthday with 7 couples, and we cannot put into words how wonderful every aspect of this place is. The owner and her family are on the property, (but not at the villa so they respect your privacy) and they make you feel as though you are part of the family. The Villa is breathtaking and the history of it makes it even more special. The working winery on site is fantastic, and the food prepared on site was great! The scenery cannot be put into words and the location in proximity to Florence and other towns is perfect. If you have the privilege of staying here, you will not regret it. We cannot wait to go back!

The house was so beautiful and very big, bigger than we expected, and very comfortable! The hosts were accommodating, and added cribs and extra small beds to a couple of the rooms. The host was responsive during the stay, and answered very quickly any questions we had about the property. Was overall a good experience and would stay again! The only issue we had was with trying to plan an event including additional guests beyond those staying at the main villa, where the host was reluctant to accommodate. We would have appreciated more flexibility and trust that we would take good care of the property (we would have been completely fine with a security deposit). The host ultimately allowed the event to go on and greeted the pizza truck and tables/chair company on the property to make sure our dinner was great, which was very much appreciated!
