Communication with this owner was great. Their responses were timely. There were a few things that did not go well but they listened to me when I told them about it. Even though there were no remedies while we were there. The shower did not work in the hall bath so we all had to use the one bathroom in the primary bedroom. And there was an apparent pest problem, although he did say the property had recently been sprayed for pests. He is addressing the issues with maintenance for the building, I just wish something could have been done to fix things while we were there. Looking at the big picture, this apartment is very serviceable and the location was great for us as we went back and forth multiple times to MD Anderson during the day and it was very convenient. The price per night was very affordable as well. We appreciate the hosts as when we checked in the original apartment we were booked for was damaged by a previous occupant, so they upgraded our room from 2 br to 3 br at no additional charge. So I do believe the shower and things were just an unfortunate occurrence and would not be a reflection of the property on a normal day.
