Elegant Country house in an exposed hill-site

This romantic natural stone house occupies a lovely spot amidst the olive groves just above Dolceacqua. Ventimiglia is only a 15 minutes drive away and the centre of Dolceacqua is only 8 km down the road.

The house is generously designed and very elegant and comfortable throughout. On the ground floor are the spacious and well-equipped kitchen, the comfortable living area with open fireplace as well as the master bedroom with shower room and separate loo. Large panoramic windows give stunning views over the surroundings and French windows lead out to the surrounding terrace, where plenty enjoys plenty of sunshine can be enjoyed throughout the day. On the upper floor are two bedrooms – on twin and one double – and a shower room. Parking is available on the grounds.

The access to the house is good with only the final 600m being a narrow private road; 500m of this road are tarmac covered, the remaining 100m are dirt track. The surrounding grounds measure approx. 6,900qm and are laid out in typical terraces, planted with olive groves. The 9 x 4 metre infinity pool is nestled in one of the terraces, which is open from 15 May to 15 October.

The house is a perfect starting point for numerous hikes and excursions into the beautiful Ligurian hinterland or to the coast and the Cîte d’Azur, which is just a 30 minutes drive away.

Beautiful cottage nestled in stunning location

Had a fantastic two weeks staying in this cottage set overlooking the stunning hillside above Dolceacqua. The cottage was spacious, clean, well-equipped and the pool was beautiful - to be able to swim overlooking the view of the valley was amazing. We’d recommend heading to the river at and above nearby Rocchetta, which in our view was a much nicer spot to swim than the beach at Ventimiglia. A wonderful place to stay.

Overall we had a great time. The villa was nice and had everything you could possibly need. The pool was fantastic and the views were incredible. Daniela communicated well and could not have been more helpful. As was Marc, the caretaker, who was fantastic when we needed his assistance. The only negative was that we were informed on our penultimate day that we had received a complaint for being noisy, which was disheartening. We were a group of two families with young children. We were playing in the pool with the children and had some music on, at a reasonable volume during the daytime and were all inside by 9pm maximum. It appears noise travels in the valley, so bare this in mind if you wish to stay and have fun or have children. Daniela was very polite and understanding, however.

Das Haus hat eine gute Ausstattung und der Pool ist mega.Auch unsere kleine Tochter fand es klasse.Leider war das Haus mit einigen kleineren MĂ€ngeln vorzufinden. Hier und da hatte man einen Knopf eines Schrankes in der Hand oder die KlospĂŒlung ging nicht. Sauber war es auch nicht. Verkalkte WasserhĂ€hne und Spinnweben entstehen nicht innerhalb von Tagen.Was wirklich negativ zu bewerten ist, ist die Anfahrt zum Haus. Beschrieben wird das die letzten paar Meter zum Haus schwierig sind. Das ist so, aber problemlos machbar. Wer nach Ligurien fĂ€hrt muss sich der Straßen bewusst sein.Die Auffahrt zum Haus ist aber derart steil das wir mit 2 Autos aufgesessen sind, mit einem davon nur wieder rĂŒckwĂ€rts ausfahren konnten. Hier hĂ€tte ich mir einen klaren Hinweis auf der Seite gewĂŒnscht das man nicht mit jedem Auto anfahren kann, da je nach Typ man die Auffahrt nicht fahren kann weil man schlicht und ergreifend aufsitzt und sich festfĂ€hrt.

Nous avons passé une super semaine dans cette maison. L'environnement est ultra calme et c'est ce que nous recherchions. La maison est équipée : tout le nécessaire en cuisine, BBQ, tables pour manger dehors, transats...La communication avec l'agence en amont et sur place, est fluide et agréable. Merci à eux !A savoir :Il y a des moustiques le soir, pensez à emmener le nécessaire.Il y a beaucoup de marches à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur de la maison (bon à savoir pour des personnes ùgés ou enfants en bas ùge).Les derniers 600 mÚtres du trajet se font sur une route non goudronnée, étroite (assez large pour un véhicule) et avec de la légÚre pente.

We hebben een heel fijn verblijf gehad: mooi uitzicht, fijn zwembad, verschillende hoekjes rondom het huis waar je kunt zitten, sfeervolle inrichting, aangename bedden, zeer rijk uitgeruste keuken, en nog veel meer. Communicatie met eigenaar, tuinman en bemiddelingsbureau was aangenaam. Het enige wat ons gedurende die week wat stoorde, was het geluid vanuit het onder gelegen huisje. Het kan zijn dat het komt door die gasten die week, maar die waren best luid (muziek, elkaar toeschreeuwen) en dat verneem je.

wunderschöne Chill-out-Zeit in wunderschöner Location

Wir haben eine tolle Zeit in diesem Haus gehabt. Die Anfahrt war etwas erschreckend, denn wir sind mit einem Kleinbus angereist und die Zufahrt ist doch sehr eng und tricky. Doch daran haben wir uns schnell gewöhnt und zum GlĂŒck kam uns nie ein Auto entgegen. Das Haus selbst hat ein superschönes Ambiente und ist toll ausgestattet. Bei jedem Anliegen hatten wir in Mark, dem Hausverwalter einen direkten Ansprechpartner, der alles sofort gelöst hat und uns tolle Tipps fĂŒr die Umgebung gegeben hat. Das hat unser "WohlfĂŒhlbarometer" auf hohem Level gehalten.Das Haus und die KĂŒche ist toll ausgestattet (gute Messer, Pfannen, vielfĂ€ltige GewĂŒrze, frische KrĂ€uter im Garten) und wir haben es sehr genossen, dort gemeinsam zu kochen.Ein Problem sind die lĂ€stigen StechmĂŒcken. Das Haus hat ĂŒberall gute Fliegengitter, aber, um im Freien zu sitzen brauchten wir ein paart Tage, um genĂŒgend Insektenschutzmittel zu kaufen und ein gutes Zeitfenster zu finden , um ungestört draussen zu essen und zu sitzen.Wir hĂ€tten locker noch ein paar Tage lĂ€nger dort ausgehalten, aber leider war der Urlaub zu schnell vorbei.Wir kommen sicher gerne wieder.

Eine Woche Ligurien

Wunderschönes Haus in den OlivenbĂ€umen. Top Ausgestattet mit einem tollen Pool. Sehr einfache und angenehme Kommunikation mit der Agentur, waren bei Problemen immer erreichbar und Hilfe sofort zur Stelle. Das Haus war sehr sauber und alles war super. Bei einem Besuch (allg. Mirtelmeerraum) sollte an ausgiebig Anti-MĂŒckenspray und Anti-MĂŒckenstecker gedacht werden. Wir wurden von einer Invasion SandmĂŒcken gestochen und mussten wegen allergischen Reaktionen sogar das Spital aufsuchen.

Tolles Haus in wunderschöner Umgebung

Wunderschönes Haus mit toller Aussicht, sehr schöne Landschaft, toller Pool. Im Haus war alles zu finden, was man braucht, sehr gute Ausstattung. Alle Menschen waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Besonders der Hausverwalter hat sofort geholfen, wenn etwas geklemmt hat, sehr freundlich! Als einziger negativer Punkt ist die sehr schmale, ca. 600 m lange, steile Zufahrt zum GrundstĂŒck zu nennen, z.T. nicht befestigt. Wir haben uns auf dieser leider einen Reifen zerfahren, was etwas Stress brachte.

Traumhaus in den Bergen Liguriens

Das Haus lĂ€sst keine WĂŒnsche offen, sieht genauso aus wie in den Bildern und enhĂ€lt alles wie in den Angaben beschrieben. Es ist ideal fĂŒr Paare mit Kindern oder 3 Paare. Der Blick ist einfach traumhaft. Habe es sofort an Freunde weiterempfohlen. Die Ausstattung enthĂ€lt zusĂ€tzlich Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher, RĂŒhrgerĂ€t, Fernseher und DVD Spieler. Das Haus ist ein super Ort zum Abschalten.

Portalangaben und RealitĂ€t stimmen zu 100% ĂŒberein, sehr gepflegt, gehobener Standard, tolle Umgebung, sehr gute Betreuung durch Agentur, fĂŒr Familien mit Kindern ab 10 Jahren geeignet (vorher nicht wegen offenen Treppen), Top-Ausstattung (KĂŒche lĂ€sst keine WĂŒnsche offen), ideale Lage fĂŒr Wander- und Mountainbike-Fans, 6 km nach Roccetta, 14 km zum Meer, wunderschöner Ausblick (bei klarem Wetter bis Korsika). Eignet sich auch super fĂŒr Frauen- oder MĂ€nnerurlaube (bis 6 Personen) und fĂŒr Leute, die Erholung suchen (den ganzen Tag Sonne) und einfach chillen wollen.
