Because even though absolutely everything you need (Museum Harbour, paddlewheel steamboats, doctors, restaurants, cafés, shopping, physiotherapy, playgrounds, Sielhafen Museum, textile shops, bank, hair salon, ice cream parlours…) is within walking distance or less than 300 metres away, the south-facing balcony offers a lovely view of nature. After you’ve explored the area, visited the islands, relaxed on the beach, toured the museum, or gone on a bike ride, you can refuel either at one of the nearby restaurants or in the well-equipped kitchen. Now let the day wind down with a good film or book on the cosy sofa, a glass of wine at sunset on the balcony, or a relaxing soak in the bathtub beneath the skylight. By the way, it’s not just smokers who will love the small side balcony—the view from here is simply beautiful, too.
