Great location far enough from downtown Bath to be peaceful, but close enough to be only minutes from shops & restaurants. House was well equipped and clean.

Bath stay
House was in a great location and very comfortable. The view was beautiful and enjoyed sitting out on the deck.
The house was spacious and in a quiet neighborhood. The view in the back yard good with the river behind the house. We had Christmas Dinner there and everyone fit at the table and lots of room in the kitchen. I loved where the house was located.

We are building a home in Cushing, Maine and wanted to bring my 87 year old mom up to Maine to see the progress. We were looking for a place in Bath or Boothbay- which gave us only a 3-hour drive home. Mom has trouble walking so we looked for a place that had at least two full baths and two bedrooms, with one bath and bedroom on the first floor. Easy access to the front door as well. Waterview. This home had all of that and was reasonable in price. I read the previous reviews and was willing to give the place a try. When we pulled up we were a little nervous because the shrubs and plants have overtaken the entire front and the driveway. Just looked like no one cared. We were happy to go in and see beautiful hardwood floors, plenty of windows with a view of the river and everything was very clean- which is a top priority. The beds and bedding were clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were in need of refreshing, ie., yucky grout, rusty radiators...small jobs that would make a big difference. The deck was great to sit on to look at the river, but like the bathrooms, needed some love. We have been to more rental homes than I can count- some high end and others more "beach cottage" types, so we are familiar with the older cottage look and we are fine with that- but with that being said, I wouldn't come back to this particular home because it doesn't seem as though it's being cared for. We also missed having a welcome book.
