Really incredible piece of property and fun off the grid experience! It’s a pretty remote location up a gravel road with some wash outs and one switchback. Would definitely recommend a four wheel drive car! stunning views from the living room and deck, great tv, simple and functional kitchen, and sauna and hot tub! It was nice to get away in such a well appointed place.

I only stayed for one night, but it was exactly what I was hoping for. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and well equipped, and the setting was peaceful and quiet.I came for the dark skies and was able to spend the evening stargazing and taking astrophotography photos. It was a wonderful place to unwind and enjoy nature.The host made everything easy, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if I’m back in the area. Highly recommended!

This place is awesome! The views off the back patio are great overlooking the valley. Walking out the front door we were able to watch the sunset over mt. Adams. Very private. The house had all the cooking utensils needed as well as coffee. We used the wood-fired sauna and hot tub which was super cool as well as the cold plunge. Everything worked well. Even though this is off the grid it had all the modern amenities you could want. The driveway is gnarly, I don’t know that I would try it without 4WD. Was super cool to sit in the hot tub (no chemicals because it’s filled when you get there from the well) and look at the stars which show up great because there’s no city lights.

This is a wonderfully remote location at the top of a high prairie mountain. No neighbors or noise!! Just peaceful quiet! Gorgeous nighttime, gazing views!!! The woodfired hot tub and sauna were so amazing!! we used them every day! The home was clean with comfortable beds and really nice linens. (I was glad I brought my own pillow !) It’s equipped with essentials, but you definitely want to come prepared with food supplies, etc. for cooking and baking while you’re there. No convenience, store or market for many many miles. We rented the Urban Hideaway for three women to get away, reconnecting , relaxation time and to play games! This place did not disappoint!!I would definitely stay again if we travel this direction!!

Incredible stay! You will likely need 4WD or AWD to get up to the cabin -- the road is no joke! But the views are incredible and the cabin is cozy and wonderful. Highly recommend as long as you can get there!
