Secluded mountain cabin on 42 wooded acres/ pond/game room/Pa. Canyon/rail trail

Craig’s Log Cabin is new to VRBO but has been renting to guests for 25 years. The cabin is privately located on a gated driveway 8 miles from Wellsboro and 5 miles from Pine Creek and the Pa. Grand Canyon. The cabin is tastefully decorated to give you that log cabin experience. Sit on the screened in porch to enjoy the mountain views and the quiet sounds of nature. A map is provided to help you explore the many hiking trails on the 42 acres of woods. The pond is available to guests for fishing. Enjoy feeding the fish from the dock. Fish food is provided. A paddleboat is available along with life jackets. If the weatherman doesn't cooperate, a game room is above the garage with pool table, ping pong, and cornhole. There is a fire ring behind the cabin. Campfires can be made only when there is low fire danger. There is wifi and cable tv. Smart tvs in the bedrooms require your own streaming service. Enjoy the central a/c on those hot summer days. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking and eating utensils. No dishwasher. Bike and raft rentals along with Canyon horse wagon rides are 5 miles away. Further info can be obtained from my website at craig'slogcabin.com.

Everything was great and would use the cabin again. The only comments I would make are the driveway is gravel and a little steep and we missed that the game room is actually above the detached garage, but we didn't miss it because the cabin was so nice, especially the screened in porch.

My friend and I were looking for a quiet vacation in a secluded location. This cabin was perfect for us. The beds and linens were exceptional. The kitchen was well stocked and clean. We were fortunate enough to have a couple of nice days and were able to enjoy sitting on the screened in porch. If I ever needed time away again in a quiet location I would book this cabin again. The owner was easy to contact and was helpful answering all our questions.

Great property. Nice house and beautiful surroundings. My youngest insists on adding that it was kid-friendly. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well-stocked. Clean house. Game room was nice - it will be better when the weather gets colder. Interesting things to do around. Wellsboro itself was, as they say, quaint little town. Trails around the local version of Grand Canyon were pretty. But you do not actually have to leave the property - its own trails are enough to investigate for a few days.

I HAVE BEEN RENTING VACTION HOMES SINCE THE 1990'S. THIS HAS BEEN THE VERY BEST OF ALL EXPERIENCES. CRAIG'S HOME WAS WELL APPOINTED. IT WAS WELL MAINTAINED INSIDE AND OUT. IT WAS IN CLOSE PROXIMITY TO BIKING, FISHING, AND WELLSBORO VISITS. IT WAS SIMPLY OUTSTANDING!

We had an absolutely fantastic 6-day stay at this beautiful cabin! It was the perfect, cozy retreat—sparkling clean, incredibly comfortable, and exactly as pictured. The cabin is nestled in a beautiful wooded area with lots of privacy, it overlooks it’s pond and is just a short drive from great hiking trails and rails to trails. The town of Wellsboro is close by and has great restaurants and shops, along with a walking tour. The amenities provided in this cabin were top notch. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals after a long day of exploring, and cable TV was great with many channels. Our favorite times were sitting on the screen porch overlooking the pond and watching the sunset. There is also a great game room, but we did not use it as we were too busy exploring the local parks. This cabin is a great year-round destination for anyone and we plan to visit again. The host was responsive and gave great instructions. Highly recommend this charming retreat.
