Tarp is located far up in the north, not far from the Danish border. It’s the ideal starting point for exploring the “true North.” You can reach Flensburg on the Baltic Sea in about 15 minutes by car. Explore the beautiful fjord city and enjoy the harbour and the old town. The route continues along the fjord through Glückburg and past the natural beaches along the Baltic Sea.
You can reach the nature reserve on the Schlei in about 30 minutes. Nature lovers will find plenty to enjoy here. Take in the peaceful landscape along the Schlei.
The popular North Sea islands of Sylt and Föhr are about an hour away. You can travel to the island by train, car, or ferry and experience an unforgettable day on the North Sea.
The expansive beaches of Sankt Peter-Ording are also just over an hour away. There, you can watch the beach sailors and kitesurfers. The Westerhever Lighthouse is a very popular stop on the way back.
Given its proximity to Denmark, you should also take a trip to Römo (about 1 hour) to experience the North Sea from a nature-oriented perspective. A day trip to Copenhagen by train from Flensburg rounds out your experience in the north.
Of course, you can also explore the area by bike and reach many destinations via quiet bike paths. Water sports enthusiasts can get great tips from rental shops on the best spots on the North Sea and Baltic Sea.
Last but not least, the kids travelling with you will have a blast. Spend a day at Tolk Amusement Park (about 30 min.), visit the zoo in Gettorf, or simply enjoy some quality time on the beaches of the Baltic and North Seas.
These are just a few suggestions for an active holiday in the north. Anyone who enjoys the sunset here in the evening with a fish sandwich or a glass of wine will quickly understand what makes the “true North” so special.
Our holiday home, newly furnished in 2022, awaits you to round out the day. The solidly built holiday home is located in a quiet residential area. During construction and interior design, great emphasis was placed on the use of high-quality materials.
The spacious layout ensures a pleasant atmosphere. All rooms are flooded with natural light thanks to large windows and can be darkened with roller shades if needed. The furnishings are, without exception, of the highest quality. A large living room suite ensures maximum comfort.
The two bedrooms on the upper floor are bright and comfortably furnished and equipped with a modern Internet-enabled HD TV.
Also on the upper floor is another bedroom with two single beds. A cot or high chair for the little ones can be provided.
The spacious kitchen is fully equipped with high-quality brand-name appliances. The coffee machine ensures a delightful morning treat for breakfast or an afternoon coffee.
The large bathroom with a shower and bathtub is the ideal way to start the day. There is also a guest bathroom on the ground floor.
The terrace is furnished with lounge chairs and patio furniture and lets you soak up the morning sun. Enjoy breakfast with a view of the beautifully landscaped garden, or wind down the evening by grilling delicious meals on the gas grill (Weber).
Cars and motorcycles can be parked for free in the car park on the property or on the street in front of the house.
Pets are not allowed.

The security deposit of €200.00 and the final cleaning fee of €160.00 are due with the down payment and are not included in the travel price.
