About the host
Hosted by gina hinckley
I am an artist. I am fun, witty, spirited and always smiling.....I'm told. My glass is always half full. I enjoy meeting other happy people and hosting has given that to me. I also love showing my home and space off to people. I'm very proud of what I have built here and enjoy sharing it with others. The space you stay in is where I lived for 3 years. I miss it and have considered moving back into it. Get know me on FB, SandBar Gina Don't believe everything you see or read. I enjoy being funny and have no filter. I turned 61 this April and love life.
Why they chose this property
WELL, as a condo owner in St Pete my friends said to me "Gina, you need to buy a home. You are NOT a good condo owner." The only thing I could afford up there was a 400 sq ft shack on MLK Blvd. So I headed south and landed in the New York section of Port Charlotte. It so happens that this this is a great neighborhood. Since I have lived here I have not seen any crime. No loud parties. No fighting. I randomly check the FBI crime map and take a snap, send it off to my daddy and show him.....no crime.
What makes this property unique
Having lived on Grand Cayman Island I designed my 1964 Florida bungalow to have a Caribbean feel. You'll notice the second you pull up the yard full of native seashells rather than green grass. The house is bright white with double turquoise doors, not the usual beige. The outside enclosed area is larger than most and has a tranquil feel to it. The yard is scattered with jumbo native seashells and there are touches of turquoise thought out. Being a designer and artist keeps my place fresh and eye catching.
