Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Hot Tub: set the temperature to 100, turn off the jets & light. Cover the hot tub and rebuckle all 4 straps securely.
Please return outdoor seat cushions to the two storage bins on the deck, make sure the BBQ and deck fire pit are covered and tie the cover of the fire pit to the table legs so it does not fly away
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

My family came here for a rare weekend outing to celebrate my aunt and brother’s bdays and this surpassed all expectations! The house is absolutely gorgeous and the game room / movie room / sauna / hot tub…what more could you need? We didn’t want to leave! We had so much fun and had great memories - would absolutely love to come here again. As well, Karen was so responsive and helpful to give us local recommendations. 10/10 in every way.

We LOVED our stay!! We did a weekend trip to Front Royal area. The property is beautiful and pristine. It was so thoughtfully designed. It was way better equipped (tin foil, saran wrap, knives, spices, towels, yoga mats, etc) than typical rental homes. We LOVED sitting on the porch and drinking coffee in the morning overlooking the beautiful mountains. We also thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, and sauna! Having the EV charging was a major plus. I ended up accidentally leaving some items in the house and the host was very responsive when I reached out about retrieving them. My group loved the house so much that we talked about doing an annual trip to the area to stay in that home!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Oak Hill Haven! The house is beautiful and very well appointed with everything you could possibly need. We were 3 couples traveling for a birthday weekend and we all enjoyed the space and having our own bathroom. Karen was a wonderful host. She communicated lots of details before our stay and checked in while we were there. One of the couples used Apple Maps to find the house, which took them to an address in Flint Hill, VA. Both Waze and Google Maps were accurate so we would recommend using those to find the house!

I can not say enough about this beautiful property. From the beautiful balcony down to the hand soap in the bathrooms, everything was amazing! The movie room and game room kept the kids entertained for hours. Everyone loved the jacuzzi, sauna and fire pit. The house was immaculate and well stocked. The house was private, nestled in the woods but only a close drive to the store and activities. We loved evey aspect of this house and would love to return one day. Thank you for being an amazing host and sharing this gorgeous property with us!

We've stayed in a lot of vacation rentals over the years, and this one is easily one of our favorites.From the moment we walked in, it just felt like home. The house is beautiful, cozy, and decorated so thoughtfully. My wife kept joking that she wanted to keep the place. We'd love to come back.The location was perfect, about 20 minutes from the Shenandoah National Park entrance, so getting into the park each day was easy, but we still felt tucked away in the mountains. The Starlink Wi-Fi was fast and reliable.The kitchen was one of the best-stocked we've ever used. Every time we thought, "I wonder if they have..." they did...even chamomile tea! Everything was spotless, the beds were comfortable, and it was obvious the owners put a lot of care into making guests feel welcome.Our whole family, including our kids and dogs, had such a great time here. The movie room, ping pong table, foosball table, and fire pit were huge hits with the kids and gave us plenty to do after a day of hiking. One of our favorite parts of every evening, though, was sitting on the upper deck watching the fireflies sparkle through the trees. There were so many of them...it felt magical.Don't skip Front Royal while you're here. It's such a charming little downtown with some really great restaurants.The owners were always quick to respond and were wonderful to work with from start to finish.We'd absolutely stay here again. An easy 10/10.
