About this property

Vibrant Lofted Tiny Home

Located just steps from a scenic creek and natural rock formations, this colorful tiny home provides direct access to the outdoors. The compact floor plan includes one queen bed, a double loft bed, and a functional kitchenette. Spend afternoons walking the wooded pathway or relaxing on your private front porch. Finish the day at the communal fire pit under the stars. Perfect for those looking to experience nature and tiny homes.

This distinct tiny home is positioned directly adjacent to a natural woodland environment, offering immediate access to a rocky stream and dense tree canopy. The property is part of a larger tiny home village that has been integrated into the existing landscape, balancing comfortable indoor living with the rugged textures of the outdoors. The location is suited for guests who want to spend their time outside exploring, building fires, and enjoying the fresh air.

The natural surroundings define the experience at this property. Just beyond the gravel pathways of the village, guests will find a small, winding creek bed surrounded by large, exposed rock formations and mature trees. The tree canopy filters the sunlight, creating shaded walking areas and a quiet atmosphere away from main roads. The entrance to the property features a rustic wooden archway that sets the tone for the wooded environment.

The exterior of "The New England" unit features green siding with a vibrant orange door, standing out against the forest backdrop. A private wooden porch with two orange Adirondack chairs provides a transitional space between the indoor unit and the natural world outside, offering a clear view of the surrounding trees.

Inside, the tiny home provides a climate-controlled environment to return to after a day outdoors. The main floor features a sitting area with two woven lounge chairs, a television, and a window that lets in natural light from the property grounds. The indoor space is compact and efficient. The kitchenette is equipped for quick meals, featuring a microwave, a larger mini-fridge with freezer, for storing snacks and drinks, and a coffee maker to help start early mornings. Plates, bowls, silverware, and wine glasses are provided. While there is no indoor stove, a shared charcoal BBQ grill and Blackstone is available outside in the communal dining area.

Sleeping accommodations are split between two levels. The main floor holds a queen bed. For those comfortable climbing stairs, the loft contains a double bed. The loft area utilizes the vertical space of the tiny home and offers a unique vantage point of the interior. Room-darkening shades are available to block out the morning sun.

The bathroom is located on the ground floor and includes a shower with hot water, a vanity, and a toilet. We stock the bathroom with Native shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and a hair dryer so you do not need to pack these bulky items in your travel bags.

The village layout encourages spending time in the communal outdoor spaces. A large fire pit sits in the center of the property, surrounded by teal Adirondack chairs. This is a shared space for all village guests to use in the evenings. Next to the fire pit, is an outdoor dining table, providing a shaded spot to eat meals prepared on the BBQ grill.

We offer free parking on site. Pets are allowed on the property, and the nearby paths provide convenient areas for walking dogs.

About the host

Hello, I'm Holly, your host. My mom, Lisa and I have been dreaming of this tiny home village for the past 8 years. Last year, we began building that dream, one unique tiny home at a time. We love providing uniquely curated spaces for our guests to enjoy this beautiful property and nature. We are excited to be starting four more homes this Summer! Three will be tree houses and the other a Zen Den.
When not building our dream, we love spending time with my three sons (ages 26, 24 and 21) and traveling and exploring other cultures. We are pet lovers and have 3 cats (Star, Quinn & Comet) and one black lab, Betsy between the 2 of us.

Why they chose this property

We searched for a long time to find the perfect location for our tiny home village. When we found it, it was love at first sight! We love the long winding driveway that weaves between the creek and natural boulder formations. We love that we are on the edge of town (minutes from many restaurants and activities - within 10 minutes of anything in town) but at the same time, in a secluded, peaceful location surrounded by trees, rolling water and lots of nature. The number one comment on our reviews is "they wished they could have stayed longer."

What makes this property unique

Our colorful, tiny home village is uniquely decorated and carefully curated for family fun, relaxation, and outdoor adventure. This very special piece of land is flanked by a winding creek and beautiful, natural boulder formations.
