Surrounded by the picturesque Bavarian countryside, far away from mass tourism and traffic noise, you’ll find unspoiled nature here—no noise, no cars—but plenty of friendliness and leisure time.
Our spacious holiday rental, featuring a cosy wood-burning stove and panoramic mountain views, sleeps up to 6 guests. It includes a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, a living/sleeping area plus a separate bedroom, a bathroom with a bathtub, shower, and toilet, as well as a washing machine and a large balcony.
The holiday rental is situated in a quiet location right next to the forest. A private path leads to the house. Free parking is available for our guests. An electric vehicle charging station (11 kW Type 2) is located right next to the building.

A country inn is within easy walking distance. You’ll find shopping options in nearby Spiegelau.
The Erlenberg ski lift is about a 20-minute drive away, and the large ski region around Bodenmais—including the Kleiner Arber and Großer Arber—as well as the family-friendly Geisskopf ski area are about a 25-minute drive away. Haus Daxberg is also the ideal starting point for excursions to the nearby Lusen region with its numerous attractions, such as the famous treetop trail. Idyllic hiking trails begin right at the house.

We charge a fee of ten euros per night per pet. A breakfast service can be booked on-site upon request. Drinks are available at the house, and use of the washing machine and dryer is available for a small fee.
For 4–6 guests, we charge an additional cleaning fee of 5€ per person. We charge 7€ per night for infants, unless payment has been made in advance. The use of personally brought air conditioners, space heaters, or other high-power appliances is not permitted.
