Enjoy the lake life at Clear Lake! Take advantage of the peace and tranquility of the lake and the surrounding area at our unique lakeside cottage featuring a phenomenal outdoor space.
Clear Lake is waiting for you!
Imagine yourself swimming, fishing, hunting, kayaking, boating, enjoying a campfire, chasing the sunset/sunrise, having a family get together or holiday or simply a quiet escape for yourself and friends. The dock is in and ready for you! And the outdoor kitchen is ready for a lakeside brunch, dinner or pizza night followed by a campfire in the sunken firepit.
We think you will enjoy this lake property and surrounding area as much as we do and find that it offers a comfortable stay for guests. We also have an adjacent modern multilevel property with availability on Vrbo as well. If you are looking for additional space or lakefront access, it could work great to rent both properties. The seasonal lakeside cottage features approximately 1100 sqf of living space and approximately 59' of lakeshore with dock.

*Sleeps 4 in beds with room for more on floor spaces/futon
*1 full bathroom w/laundry
*Air conditioning includes a mini split
*No heat-however, you can bring an electric portable heater, if needed
*Full kitchen-fridge/freezer combo, dishwasher, garbage disposal
*Living Room-lakefront view
*Bonus Lake Room-lakefront view, includes a small futon and plenty of floor space for extra sleeping for guests
*Lakeside is fully landscaped with turf, built in firepit, outdoor couch and lounge area, outdoor custom kitchen with seating and a pizza oven with privacy fence
*There is a large backyard space with cedar privacy fence and turf

About the host

My husband and I were born and raised in this area and we both grew up on this lake. Now we have raised our kids here and they have experienced the same love for Clear Lake that we did growing up. We enjoy fishing in all seasons. In the summer months, we enjoy water sports like wake surfing, skiing, kayaking, paddle boarding, walking, campfires or simply a boat ride around the lake to take in the sunset. Our hope is that we can share with you some of the experiences this area brings that we have enjoyed for so many years.
Why they chose this property
There is just something special about Clear Lake and the surrounding area. The quietness, the beauty, the sunrises and sunsets, the activities available all seasons…it’s hard to pick just one.
What makes this property unique
We fell in love with this seasonal cottage and many of it's vintage features. We totally remodeled the inside of the cabin to make it our own, while also keeping several of the vintage and unique features that make this property special. We also added the lakeside landscaping and outdoor kitchen and lounging areas as well as the backyard green space and privacy fence. We love the near zero entry to the lake and the sandy bottom.
