4 bedroom offers an incredible home base for year-round fun. Within walking distance (or free shuttle ride) to Northstar Village and Recreation Center. In a beautiful setting with a big, sunny deck and hot tub overlooking a large yard and NorthStar Golf Course. The home is well designed to give guests peace, quiet, and plenty of privacy. It was recently refreshed with new wall paint, wood stain, and cozy decor. There is a bonus in-law unit with its own entrance.

Spacious 4 bedroom retreat to unwind in after a day of golfing, hiking, or swimming at Northstar Recreation Center. Enjoy the spacious yard or soak in the hot tub beneath towering evergreens. The open floor plan connects the living area, kitchen, and dining space, making it easy for your group to cook, dine, and spend quality time together. The primary bedroom with an ensuite bathroom is upstairs and adjacent to the loft. The other two private bedrooms are located downstairs and share a bathroom.

Additionally, there is an `in-law` unit with a queen bed in a loft overlooking a den/multi-purpose room. There is a full bathroom in the in-law unit.

- Guests have access to 2 parking spots in the driveway in front of the home.

- 2 dogs allowed, $75/dog; please keep dogs off furniture.
- No cats or other animals.
- No events, parties, or large gatherings.
- Photo ID required upon check-in.
- 4 guests must have an ID showing 23+.
- Each guest over 8 persons = $100/night.
- Max 10 guests, including children.
- Quiet hours: 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.

NORTHSTAR CALIFORNIA RESORT:
- Door-to-door free shuttle to and from the resort, 10 hours/day.
- Summer mountain biking, hiking, golf.
- Winter downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing.
- Note: Ski prices vary. Contact the facility directly for current pricing. Please keep in mind you are responsible for verifying the ski resort’s opening and closing dates.

NORTHSTAR RECREATION CLUB:
- Door-to-door free shuttle to and from the recreation center, 10 hours/day.
- Seasonal outdoor pool, year-round heated lap pool.
- 2 hot tubs, sauna, locker rooms, fitness center, game room, arcade, lounge.
- Seasonal basketball, bocce ball, tennis, pickleball courts.
- Note: The recreation center charges a $10 fee/person per day, which is collected at the front desk. House guests are provided with one access card. After using the center, the card must be returned to the hall entry table. A $75 charge will be applied for lost access cards.

Guests will have access to the entire home, a deck and balcony, and a private hot tub. We also have horseshoes, stand-up paddle boards, and pickleball paddles that guests can use.

Guests will also have access to two parking spots in the driveway in front of the home.

If you are looking for an active vacation close to endless outdoor fun, you will love the area this home is in! Situated just a mile away from Northstar Resort, you can enjoy all the activities the resort has to offer, as well as year-round entertainment in the nearby Northstar Village. Or head to the recreation center where you will find 3 pools, spas, a huge gym, pickleball courts, and more, perfect for some family-friendly fun! In the winter time, hit the slopes at Northstar Resort, where you will find great ski terrain for all ability levels. In the summer months, Northstar becomes a hiker`s paradise with tons of trails for all levels to explore, and a world-class mountain biking facility. Northstar is a great family-friendly option as well with an ice skating rink, a movie theater, shopping, dining, and more available in the Village to keep everyone in your group busy and entertained. Less than a mile from the home is Northstar Golf Course, a scenic course that the golfer in your group will love playing on. Just an 11-minute drive will take you to the town of Kings Beach where you can enjoy the white sand beaches of Lake Tahoe and a wide variety of shops, restaurants, and grocery stores. 11 minutes in the other direction brings you to the historic town of Truckee where you will find river rafting, bike paths, boutique shopping, and a great nightlife scene.

The home is located just a mile away from Northstar Ski Resort, where you will find on-site parking, as well as several shuttle bus options. The home is only a 2-minute ride on the FREE shuttle to Northstar Village and the recreation center. Guests can download the Northstar app and have easy access to the dial-a-ride shuttle. There are also daily routes to and from Kings Beach and Truckee with TART (Tahoe Area Rapid Transportation). To reach Kings Beach, guests make a mile walk to Northstar Village Gate #7 to take the Hwy 267 Truckee Depot to Crystal Bay station route, from which is around a 15-minute bus ride. For those looking to go to the historic town of Truckee, guests can take the same bus heading North and be at Truckee with a 20-minute bus ride.

There are several cab companies in the area as well as Uber and Lyft, however, Uber and Lyft can be seasonal and scarce at times.

Each person over 8 guests is an additional $100/night.

Keeping the driveway free of sleds, toys, or anything else that might interfere with the snowplow is important. Please respect the 8-foot guide poles that the plow drivers need to do their job.

By proceeding with the reservation and entering the property, Guest(s) and all other persons material to the reservation acknowledge and accept the following Rules & Policies, without exception.
01. Check-In / Check-Out Policy
Whenever possible, we will be happy to accommodate early check-in and late check-out requests, within reason. In June, July, August, and during Holidays, this may not always be possible, but please do ask. Unauthorized late check-outs will result in a Schedule Interruption Fee of $150 per hour. The cleaning services cleaning team may not enter the property following check-out, with or without your permission, until all guests and all belongings have vacated the property.
02. Maximum Occupancy
The total number of Guests MAY NOT EXCEED 8 (EIGHT) ADULTS AND TWO (2) CHILDREN, FOR A MAXIMUM TOTAL OF TEN (10) PERSONS OF ANY AGE AT ANY TIME. Occupancy limitations are governed by City and County ordinances, as well as Fire Department regulations. Violations of this policy place the Property Owner’s Short Term Rental Permit at risk. Should the maximum occupancy exceed the limitations at any time during your stay, an immediate $1,500 per additional person County Ordinance Penalty Fee will be assessed, your reservation will be immediately terminated, and you will forfeit all fees paid.
03. Pet Policy
THIS PROPERTY IS EXEMPT FROM PERMITTING ANY ANIMAL OTHER THAN NO MORE THAN ONE (1) DOG without permission. Cats, birds, etc., irrespective of their class as a service or support animal are prohibited due to property owner’s allergies. The appropriate exemption documentation is on file with the applicable booking platform.
****** Your dog must be crated if left in the house alone for more than 10 minutes. Guests are responsible for providing the dog crate for this purpose. ****** Barking, howling, crying, and/or other prolonged noise is prohibited at all times and specifically while the dog is left in the house alone. This neighborhood and the Tahoe Community in general, are VERY sensitive to pet owners who do not pick up their pets’ waste or “leave the baggie to be picked up on the way back”. It is against the ordinances of Placer, Nevada, El Dorado, and Washoe County to leave pet waste anywhere (even in the forest).
