Fantastic rental, well stocked
I wish I could add more stars to this rating. We stay at VRBO’s regularly, and some stand out and some are just there. The owner has gone above and beyond the requirements and she does so in the hopes of making your stay comfortable and enjoyable. If like us you want to save by staying at a VRBO so you can cook food, this is the place you want to stay. The kitchen is stocked with spices, oils, teas and some coffees, along with the usual cooking utensils. She takes that even a step further and provides a large fondue kit, and an electric grill that you can grill meats on top and melt chocolate on the bottom. Think that’s great? She also typed up recipes for cheese fondue, along with identifying local sausages to use for grilling. There is a wood fire ring that you can also grill on, wood is provided already for an extra cost, but it is very reasonable, especially considering it’s already split and dry. There is an on-site washer and dryer, again available at an extra cost. Be aware that you share it with an elderly neighbor who lives in a completely separate apartment below the one you are in. The rooms are very good sized and can hold numerous people comfortably. As mentioned the kitchen is very well stocked, but it is missing a microwave. Even so, we barely missed one and we cooked three large meals. The owner also leaves plenty of information and instructions on how to go about seeing the sights of the area, which was very helpful.
