Lovely and Cozy
Lovely place. 4 of us enjoyed our time here for new years. The location is perfect being within a few miles of vail village. We'd walk a couple minutes to the free bus to take us skiing, come back to change, eat dinner etc. Then take the free bus back to the village. It was so convenient and easy to navigate.
We really enjoyed our mornings at the breakfast nook and had a lovely fire in the wood fireplace the final night.
We're already planning our next visit.
Myself and two friends were in Vail for 2 days to ski. The property was fine for this because we were not there much. However, it definitely looked cuter in the photos and the kitchen did have a very weird smell. We thought maybe it was the pipes? But we were not inclined to hangout at the property much.

Kitchen Caninets Have an Odor
I read in past reviews that the kitchen cabinets have an odor. We could not use the glasses as they smelled bad and had a bad taste. The cabinets are old and this has permeated into the drinking glasses. The owners are aware as past reviews have complained.

No heat, bathroom bad, shower didn’t work properly until day 3
No heat, bathroom gross, shower no pressure and knobs fell off. I asked to terminate the first night there to just stay elsewhere - not a busy week at the mountain and not a weekend. Didn’t ask for refund. They wouldn’t let me terminate. Not a good experience.

Mountain views and quiet relaxation
I have to say, this charming and cozy little cabin-like condo in the mountains was exactly what we were looking for in a romantic getaway. My girlfriend and I wanted somewhere in the mountains to escape the city grind. Probably no better place for us to end up at than this place in Vail.
The bus stop was a short walk away to take us to hiking trails and Vail Village for dinner and drinks. We ended up driving and parking was easy.
It was our first time hiking the ski slopes and wow, it was challenging and scenic with a restaurant and bar at top and gondola-ride down.
Ending each day at this quiet place was just what we needed. We grilled out back, relaxed, read and just took in the mountain views on the back patio. It was just the two of us, but plenty of space for at least two other couples.
