From the moment you arrive, you'll feel invited to relax, play & make memories. The entire home--and all two floors of fun & wonderfulness--is yours to enjoy.
Wake each morning to the smell of fresh donuts from the beloved shop next door, then sip coffee on the front porch while downtown Georgetown slowly comes to life around you. Stroll just a few blocks to local restaurants, pubs, unique boutiques, antique shops, bakeries, sweets, & small town treasures. You're only minutes away from the Kentucky Horse Park, wineries, breweries, and scenic countryside adventures. Our home is filled with vibrant Art Deco touches inspired by the roaring twenties. The basement has been transformed into a playful private speakeasy bar (BYOB) complete with: pool table/ping pong/darts/slushee maker/games galore/65" Roku TV & popcorn station. Music lovers can bring along their favorite vinyl records to spin on the Victrola record player, which also features Bluetooth compatibility for modern playlists and dance parties. Three beautiful bedrooms with ultra-comfortable mattresses welcome you home after long days exploring Kentucky to a restful night's sleep. The spa inspired bathroom includes a walk-in shower with a shower tower & towel warmer for a relaxing reset. The fully stocked kitchen makes gathering easy, whether you're preparing a big breakfast before going out or grilling steaks for a cozy evening in.

Although this was my dream, my son (Karl) & I partnered to make this a reality, and this really was a passion project for both our families. My son (Karl) & I decided on the Speakeasy theme as soon as we saw the basement in this 1880's house. It just screamed that it was probably the site of many (illegal) drinking, dancing, & partying events out of the prying eyes of the law, lol.
My son gave me free rein as to the design elements of the home. He did think I overdid it with the beads in the living room curtains, but...oh well!
Karl, his son and my grandson (Dominic), & his daughter and my granddaughter (Autumn) did all the tile work on the floors, shower, and backsplash. Autumn, Brooke (Karl's wife), Karl, and I painted everything that needed to be painted. My husband (Jack) takes care of everything outside. Autumn & I do all the cleaning & restocking, and we take care of the hot tub in preparation for our guests' stays.
Brooke has saved our bacon with tight turnovers between guest stays.
We welcome you, want you to have the best time, and come back often!
