Tastefully and modernly furnished 1-room apartment directly on the dike

The house “Kiek över'n Diek” is located in the Ording area, right next to the Ordinger Seedeich. The “Deichlamm” apartment is on the side of the house facing away from the street. The “Kiek över’n Diek” (Look Over the Dike) apartment building, as its Low German name suggests, is situated directly on the Ordinger Seedeich. Once you reach the dike, you can let your gaze wander over the dunes, the Ordinger Sandbank, and our beautiful North Sea. The apartment was freshly renovated in 2017, and the furnishings were completely updated. With the added space and a completely new interior design, up to two guests can now feel right at home with us during the most beautiful time of the year. The fully equipped kitchen includes, among other things, a coffee maker and electric kettle, as well as a ceramic cooktop and oven. And so that your hands only need to be dipped in North Sea water, you’ll now also find a dishwasher! Additional amenities: dishes, toaster, and refrigerator with freezer compartment. On the terrace, a table and chairs are ready for a sunny breakfast or a slice of cake in the afternoon. Whether in a beach chair or on our lounge chairs, you can turn the lawn into your own oasis of relaxation. After a full day at the beach, a walk, or exploring the town, the living area—with its dining table and cosy seating areas—invites you to unwind. The living and sleeping areas are separated by a half-height wall. You can watch TV on the flat-screen TV, and a radio is also available. Of course, you can also surf the Internet. I’ll be happy to give you the password for Wi-Fi access. For a good night’s sleep, you’ll find a new, comfortable box-spring bed (160 x 200 cm) in the sleeping area. The beds will be made upon your arrival, and one bath towel and two small hand towels are provided per person. Not only are our guests well accommodated here, but your car also has its own designated spot. Parking space No. 1 is accessible from Störtebeker Straße. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate pets of any kind. Smoking is also prohibited in this modernised apartment. The costs for electricity, electric heating, and water are included in the rental price. The house is open year-round and warmly welcomes you to the beautiful North Sea in every season.
