The small town of Tanne is a real traditional town and is embedded in beautiful coniferous forests at an altitude of 500 meters. All guests of Tanne can explore the impressive nature in an exciting way on extensive hiking and cycling trails as well as on the 7.5-kilometer circular hiking trail with information boards.

A great alternative to climbing the Brocken is a hike to the Wurmberg in Braunlage. Lower Saxony's highest mountain is easy to conquer even for inexperienced alpinists and offers you an almost equally spectacular panorama when the visibility is good. Float even more comfortably in the modern gondolas of the cable car up to the summit. How about a detour to the high ropes course in St. Andreasberg.
