Leave beds that have been slept in unmade, our property care team will strip them and wash linens for the next guests.

We were responsive to your concerns and accommodated an arrival approximately three hours before the scheduled check-in time. The stairs are accurately represented in our listing and, as with any staircase, young children require close adult supervision.

This place was amazing! Even better than we had hoped. The process was so easy. The hosts were quick to communicate when needed. The kids had a blast having a bunk house and basketball hoop. We had an amazing porch breakfast using the blackstone! It was just fantastic and stress free. Had everything we needed and it was so comfortable. GREAT game selection! We ended up buying one we discovered there! Also the pizza place in Hoodsport was fantastic. First time at Lake Kokanee, we have gone up to Lake Cushman regularly, but Kokanee was amazing. Great recreation area. Yes there is the little hum of the dam but honestly it did not bother us one bit. Quiet, comfortable, and a great place. Highly recommend.

Great overall! Communication excellent. Burn ban meant we couldn’t enjoy fire pit. Weber grill needed more charcoal, but the Blackstone was great for outdoor cooking. Used the multiple propane tanks to use the blackstone and heat lamp. Kids enjoyed the walk to the lake for fishing and the property grounds to play and hang out at night playing games/cards. The front door was difficult to latch (striker plate alignment issue per husbands) and main house tub had some difficulty draining while in the shower even if the drain mechanism was used properly. Our two families had a great experience, kids were able to camp and adults were able to cook and sleep in comfort while enjoying the peaceful outdoor space and beautiful lake nearby. Thank you!

We wish we could be up here more often, but with busy schedules and kids’ sports, we don’t get as much time as we’d like in this special place. That’s part of why we love sharing it.

Everyone needs a place to disconnect from screens, slow down, and unwind in nature. This little slice of heaven has always done that for our family, and we hope it does the same for yours.

We’re grateful to open it up to guests who value the same kind of quiet, simple time together.

Why they chose this property

The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. You’ll wake up to a gentle breeze moving through the trees, birds singing, and the calming sounds of nature all around you. From the back deck, you can even hear the river flowing below if you listen closely.

Many of the surrounding cabins are not frequently occupied, which adds to the sense of privacy and seclusion. It truly feels like a hidden retreat in the woods—peaceful, quiet, and away from it all.

The neighbors who are around are kind, friendly, and always helpful and considerate, which adds to the welcoming, easygoing feel of the area.

What makes this property unique

We call it a “cabin with outdoor hallways.” Instead of one traditional layout, the property is thoughtfully spread out into a few connected spaces.

You’ll start with the main cabin and its deck, then just steps away you’ll find a separate bathhouse. A little further along is a covered fire area, and just beyond that is a private bunkhouse bedroom.

Each space has its own feel, giving everyone in your group a little corner to relax and unwind while still being together. There truly isn’t another place quite like it—we’ve found it creates the perfect balance of connection, privacy, and nature.
