A great location and cozy, spacious cabin in the heart of Red Lodge and near the Yellowstone Wildlife Refuge. I definitely will stay there again, and I highly recommend this cabin to others.

The photos don't do this place justice, we absolutely loved it! There are some steep stairs to get inside and the garage was unavailable (or not recommended) to use. But that didn't make a difference for our visit. We happened to visit during a heat wave in July and the AC units were amazing!! This will definitely be our regular stay when we visit Red Lodge!

The property was nice but not quite what I expected, we had no outside seating or grill. The washer and dryer wasn't there, but it had hookups for the washer and dryer. I probably would not stay at this property again. Didn't show stairs we had to access to go up into the living space and wasn't convenient to go out of the garage.

"Cooper Cabin" has some good things going for it including cleanliness, cute furnishing and good size rooms that make it easy for a family or multiple people to share the space. They also allow up to 2 dogs.I was surprised when I arrived that the property listing wasn't accurate. To start, this isn't a cabin nor a townhouse. It's an apartment above a separate garage building for the cute little cabins shown in the photos. The photo showing a steep set of 15 stairs is what you have to immediately go up from the front door to access the apartment. The mattresses on the beds are the bare minimum (maybe 10" thick) and sit directly on a metal bed frame with no box springs. They are stiff as a board and not comfortable for a long stay or someone with back issues.Parking is available on the street or behind the garage, but not in the garage.vThe unit doesn't have a patio, deck or yard which makes it feel enclosed. The description says there's a fenced yard, but it's a shared courtyard with a rock and water feature for all the development. Dogs aren't allowed off leash in this area, but there is a park across the street to walk dogs. The location is close to the high school, baseball field, brewery, etc. on the south end of town.
