Hörnum is located in the south of the North Sea island of Sylt and is surrounded by the sea on three sides. Nestled amid the unique landscape of dunes and heathland, Hörnum has long ceased to be an insider’s tip for Sylt enthusiasts and visitors alike. There’s plenty of space here for pure relaxation, not only for solo travellers but also for families with children. Boats depart from Hörnum Harbour for the neighbouring islands (Amrum and Föhr), seal colonies, and the Halligen.
