Here you have two nice swimming options: to swim in the Kalmarsund or in the open, fresh sea, but you will probably want to try both! Visit Borgholm Castle and the pretty summer castle Solliden. Take a ride on the 40 km bike path in Böda Ecopark. Öland is incredibly flat and narrow and is known as a perfect cycling island. Here you can make it to the sea by bike from anywhere on the island! Sweden's tallest lighthouse and the vast World Heritage limestone expanse and heath landscape, Stora Alvaret, is absolutely worth a visit. Also ride across the six-kilometer bridge to Kalmar.
