This was a beautiful home in a cool neighborhood. The house looks like it could have been featured on a home remodelling show. Good restaurants, neat shops and other things to do were available closeby. The house is also convenient to Salem. It is less convenient to Loogan airport, the harbor, and downtown Boston, but not bad. It seemed to be about 30-70 minutes depending on exact location and traffic.

Jim, thank you so much for the wonderful 10/10 review! Your comment that our home looks like it could have been featured on a home remodeling show truly made my day—it means so much after all the work that went into restoring and designing it. I'm so glad you and your family enjoyed the home and the neighborhood. It’s great to hear you had a chance to experience everything that's within walking distance, from Marblehead Harbor and Old Town to the local restaurants and shops, while also being just a short drive from Salem. For day trips into Boston, travel times can certainly vary depending on traffic, but many enjoy spending the day in the city and returning to calm of Marblehead in the evening. You took care of the house as if it were your own and we appreciate that so much. We’d love to host you and your family again!

Why they chose this property

What I love most about this neighborhood is how easy it is to experience Marblehead on foot. Within minutes, you can stroll to the harbor, grab a bottle of wine or picnic supplies from Shubie's, pick up an ice cream cone, browse unique local shops, or enjoy dinner at one of the many nearby restaurants. The winding historic streets, ocean views, salty sea air, and hidden corners around every turn make this town such a unique place.

What makes this property unique

Color Me Marblehead combines the charm of an 1880 historic home with the conveniences today's families actually need. Walk to Old Town, beaches, shops, and restaurants while enjoying rare amenities for the area, including two off-street parking spaces, a fully fenced yard, three full bathrooms, family gear, and a thoughtfully designed Canine Corner for four-legged guests.
