The Space:

Set among the evergreens inside gated Snowline, The Shuksan is a three level artisan chalet designed for mountain days, ski weekends and slow evenings by the fire.



After a day exploring Mt. Baker, sink into the private hot tub beneath the trees, gather around the wood burning fireplace, or head downstairs for ping pong, foosball and movie night. With three private queen bedrooms plus a separate open sleeping nook with two Twin XL beds, there is comfortable space for families, couples and groups of up to eight.



Thoughtful craftsmanship gives the home its character, with reclaimed hardwood floors, handcrafted lighting, wood-framed windows, custom railings and a striking solid-wood kitchen island.



THE MAIN LEVEL



The main floor is the gathering place of the home, bringing the kitchen, dining area and living room together around the wood burning fireplace.



Large windows frame the surrounding evergreens, while the generous kitchen island makes an easy spot for morning coffee, après-ski snacks and conversations that run well past dinner.



This level includes:

• Kitchen, dining and living areas

• Washer and dryer



THE UPPER LEVEL



Upstairs are two additional private bedrooms, each with a queen bed.



A separate open sleeping nook has two Twin XL beds, making it especially useful for kids, teens or additional guests. The nook is open to the upper level and is not a private fourth bedroom.



THE LOWER LEVEL



The lower level gives everyone another place to relax after a day outside.

Mt. Baker Ski Area is approximately 25–30 minutes away, putting skiing, snowboarding and snowshoeing within easy reach during winter, with hiking, mountain biking, fishing and scenic adventures throughout the warmer months.



During summer, guests may also enjoy Snowline's seasonal heated outdoor community pool, typically available from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.



At the end of the day, return to the trees, warm up beside the fire and enjoy having nowhere else you need to be.



Guest Access:

Guests have private access to the entire home, including the kitchen, living and dining areas, three sleeping levels, game room, laundry facilities, deck, private hot tub, barbecue grill and driveway.



During the summer season, guests may also enjoy Snowline's heated outdoor community pool, typically open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, subject to HOA operations and weather.



The Neighborhood:

The Shuksan is located inside Snowline Community Club, a peaceful gated mountain community surrounded by evergreens near Glacier, Washington.



Snowline borders the Mt. Baker Snoqualmie National Forest and makes an excellent base for exploring Mt. Baker and the North Cascades. Community amenities include walking paths, nature trails, river access areas, an open field and children's playground.



Mt. Baker Ski Area is approximately 25–30 minutes away for skiing and snowboarding, with hiking, snowshoeing, mountain biking, fishing and other outdoor adventures throughout the surrounding area.



Snowline's heated outdoor community pool is a seasonal summer amenity, typically open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.



Getting Around:

This property borders the Mt. Baker Snoqualmie National Forest and requires a vehicle to access. Please be prepared to arrive in a four wheel drive or All wheel drive during the snow season.



Other Things to Note:

The Shuksan is a three level mountain home, so stairs are part of the experience. The upper sleeping areas and lower game room and hot tub are reached by stairs.



The two Twin XL beds are in an open sleeping nook rather than a private fourth bedroom.



Snowline is a private gated community. Parking is limited to vehicles that fit completely in the home's driveway, and vehicles must be registered before arrival. Street and overflow parking are not available. Community quiet hours, leash requirements and the prohibition on outdoor campfires also apply.



For winter stays, an all wheel drive or 4 wheel drive vehicle is strongly recommended. Mountain weather can change quickly, so please check road and weather conditions before traveling.



High speed fiber WiFi is available at the home. Cellular coverage can be limited in Glacier and the surrounding mountain area, so WiFi calling can be helpful.



One approved dog may join your stay for a $35 nightly pet fee. Dogs must be at least one year old, stay off beds and furniture, remain leashed within the community and may not be left unattended in the home.



A Pack ’n Play and highchair may be available by request. Please contact us before arrival so we can confirm availability.



As with any rural mountain destination, storms or regional service issues can occasionally affect utilities, internet or cellular service.
