Peaceful 2-bedroom brick Shorewood house near Lake Michigan beaches and parks

Welcome to our home in a quiet neighborhood, a short walk to gorgeous views over Lake Michigan and the beach and a five minute walk to restaurants, coffee shops, nightlife and grocery store. Outdoor porch surrounded by flowers to enjoy evening drinks or coffee in the morning. Includes free on property parking, fireplace, cooking and baking supplies and on-site support.

Super-fast internet, a fully equipped kitchen with coffee & tea, and in-unit laundry. Each bedroom has a queen size bed and extra bedding in the hallway closet.

This one level duplex is updated duplex to create a bright, open space with hardwood floors, Eco central heating and air and modern comfortable furniture.

Each bedroom has a comfortable queen bed. Large closets you to unpack and stay a while, and a free washer and dryer is in the the basement when you want to get laundry done.

The living room has a smart TV, free books to take with you and information about things to do in the area to help you plan your adventures in Milwaukee. We often have several devices to connect so the internet speed is the fastest available.

The kitchen features modern appliances and a coffee bar. We love to cook, so you should have everything you need if you choose to make a meal. There are wine, beer and champagne glasses in the built in cabinets in the kitchen for your entertaining.

The bathroom has shampoo, conditioner, and toiletries if you need it.

Shorewood is a delightful community with amazing parks, beer gardens, restaurants, bars, and boutiques. Sundays in the summer Estabrook Park, 20 minute walk west, hosts a Farmer's Market from 9:30 - 1 pm. We have listed some of our favorites in our guest book. Atwater Park and beach overlooking Lake Michigan is a pleasant 10 minute walk away. All of Milwaukee's downtown destinations are just 10-15 minutes away by car -- we love to take Lincoln Memorial Drive for beautiful vistas over the lake.

Our family of 4 loved this rental! It was full of original 50’s charm and we loved all the retro details - a milk door, mail slot, built in cutting boards, and a toothbrush/cup holder in the bathroom. The Shorewood area is perfect - close to the lake, walkable, and beautiful. Liz was so thoughtful and welcoming and was a quick communicator. We would definitely stay here again!

Great place only 10-15 minutes from downtown Milwaukee. Walking distance to a beach and restaurants. The kids loved the swing. We all liked the reading chair. Very responsive host. Clean property and generous extras.

Highly recommended!! Liz is a fantastic host — very responsive and easy to communicate with. The home was spacious, spotless, and exactly as described. The location is great, and it was incredibly quiet at night, which made for amazing rest. Check‑in was smooth, parking was easy, and the whole stay felt comfortable and welcoming. I’d absolutely stay here again!
