I’ll start by saying that the home was clean upon our arrival. However, there were several issues of concern that could have affected the safety, comfort, and overall experience of our stay.The chairs around the fire pit had dry rot, and one broke when a member of our party sat in it. There were also notes on the dishwasher and dryer indicating that both appliances were broken, which was disappointing and would have been helpful to know before our arrival.Additionally, the home has three steps at the entrance, but the safety railing is loose and very wobbly, creating a potential safety hazard.Finally, there are three cats living on the back patio, which was not disclosed in the listing. We were unaware that we would be expected to feed the cats during our stay, and one member of our party has a cat allergy. This was an unexpected concern that should have been communicated to guests in advance.While the home was clean, these issues should be addressed to ensure future guests have a safe, comfortable, and informed experience.
