I first came to Girdwood for work, but stayed because it feels like nowhere else I’ve lived. It’s this rare place where the mountains meet the sea—lush, secluded, a little weird in the best way, and deeply tied to the surrounding forest and ocean. I’ve spent most of my life in ski towns, and Girdwood stands out for its mix of real community, incredible terrain, and the wild edge that keeps me inspired year after year.

What makes this property unique

This condo is a curated little base camp for people who love both adventure and beautiful spaces. Over the years I’ve explored a lot of the world, and the home is layered with textiles, art, and small objects collected from places as varied as Mongolia to the high Arctic. The result is a warm, modern retreat with real personality—Alyeska views, a jetted tub, and a lived‑in, story‑rich feel you don’t often find in a typical vacation rental.
