Welcome to this vacation home in the municipality of Preitenegg! In this accommodation on two levels you will find everything you need for a hiking vacation. Inside the house you will feel a charming country house ambience. Make a packed lunch and start your hiking tour early in the morning. On the way, children can collect plants and forest materials and guess animal sounds. Can you be as quiet as a mouse as a wild cat or owl? In the evening, make a dreamcatcher on the open terrace or create a herbarium.



Situated at an altitude of 1,000 meters above sea level, the community of Preitenegg offers perfect conditions especially for hikers and mountain bikers. At the Packer reservoir you can relax and sunbathe and the kids can splash around in the beautiful lake! Drive to the town of Wolfsberg and stroll through its charming old town. Here you can also visit the magnificent Wolfsberg Castle.

Zum Urlaubsantritt hatten wir Hochwasser in NÖ. Der Vermieter hat einen Ersatztermin angeboten, was nicht selbstverständlich ist. Überhaupt sind die Vermieter äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Ferienhaus ist in herrlicher Ruhelage mit tollem Ausblick und bietet alles was man für einen entspannten Urlaub, ohne Trubel, benötigt. Wir werden wieder kommen.

Erwähnenswert ist hier, dass das Häuschen über eine gute Dämmung verfügt, so dass man auch bei hohen Aussentemperaturen sehr gut im Schlafbereich direkt unter dem Dach bei angenehmen Temperaturen dort Ruhe findet. Das Häuschen steht auf dem Platz eines kompletten Hofes und ist mittels Umzäunung vom Hof abgetrennt und ermöglicht dadurch - wenn gewünscht - die Anwesenheit von Gänsen, Katzen und Kühen auf den angrenzenden Weiden. Das haben wir als sehr angenehm empfunden.Und wenn jemand so wie wir gern kleinere Unterkünfte bevorzugt und mit den Eigentümern auch mal einen "Schwatz" halten kann, dann kann man diesen Ort für eine entspannte Urlaubszeit unbedingt empfehlen.Nicht zuletzt weil die Seehöhe hier über 1000 mtr. liegt und die Strasse zum Haus eine Sackgasse ist, die nur zu diesem einen Anwesen führt, ist dieser Ort bisher einer der ruhigsten gewesen, wo wir unsere Urlaubszeit verbringen durften.
