The Space

Welcome to the Donohue Beach House, a beautifully updated 3-bedroom, 3-bath waterfront home located directly across from Sail Bay in San Diego's highly sought-after Crown Point neighborhood.

From the moment you walk through the front door, you'll be greeted by panoramic bay views, stunning sunrises, and the relaxed coastal lifestyle that makes Mission Bay one of Southern California's most desirable destinations. Whether you're enjoying your morning coffee while watching paddle boarders glide across the water, taking an evening stroll along the bay, or gathering with family after a day at the beach, this home was designed to help you slow down and enjoy everything San Diego has to offer.

The home features multiple indoor and outdoor living spaces, making it perfect for families, couples, and groups looking to relax, reconnect, and experience the very best of coastal San Diego.

Outside, you'll find a private front patio overlooking Sail Bay, a backyard retreat with outdoor dining, BBQ, and plenty of space to unwind after a day in the sun. Inside, large windows fill the home with natural light and showcase beautiful water views throughout the property.

One of the things our guests love most is the location. The Mission Bay bike path, sandy bay beaches, coffee shops, restaurants, parks, paddle board rentals, and family activities are all within walking distance.

Guest access
You will be able to access the unit anytime after 4:00pm with the code provided in the check-in instructions. Free parking is available in the driveway and also on the street in front of the house.

We can accommodate an early check-in or late check-out upon request. Please submit requests a day before your check-in/check-out date. Early check-in time is at 1pm, and late checkout is at 1pm. The fee is $39.

We welcome any questions before your check-in date to avoid any issues or confusion, and we also provide an extensive house manual with all the ins and outs of the unit for your convenience!

Early Check-In/Late Check-Out:

If you would like an early check in or late checkout, you need to request it through the messaging strand with our staff, it is an extra $39 dollar fee for each request. VRBO does not alert us if you have requested to change your check in time through the booking details, so we will not be aware of it and will not be able to honor it if you do not confirm with us and pay the fees prior to check in.

The property

This Riveria Drive beach house is located right across the street from the beach-access entrance on world-famous Sail Bay on Mission Bay.

Every day will be filled with views of boats, kit-boarders, yaughts, dolphins, boat races, water skiiers and incredible sunsets every night.

Spend your days on the beach and enjoying the Mission Bay Bike Path.

The space
The home features a large living room, kitchen and dining room, 3 bedrooms (one with a bunk and pull-out, a custom garage gym and more!

It can comfortably sleep 8 as it has one king bed, one full bed, and a bunk bed with a trundle. You are also welcome to bring 2 extra guests, as we do have a large couch. (This house is a private residence, and is not shared with any other guests.)

It also comes with an outdoor dining set and seating, BBQ, and two sets of outdoor couches so you can enjoy a beautiful sunset on the front yard and host an outdoor movie night in the backyard!

After Hours:
9pm-6am are our "after hours" and no one will be available to assist you if something goes wrong. Please check in between the hours of 4pm- 9pm, and let us know if you need anything! Additionally, if you do not abide by the check-in time frame and are unable to access the unit after hours, we will not be providing any sort of compensation or refund for that night.

Pets:
Pets are NOT allowed in this home.

Events / Parties / Large Gatherings:
No parties or events allowed - No Exceptions!

Long-Term Stays:
No long-term stays allowed. The only exception is if you want to pay the full price per night.

Hosting a party/event - $250 fine
Late checkouts that were not requested or approved - $50 fine
Excessive Guests - $50 fine per person
Extra Cleaning Fee (when excessive trash or food is left behind) - $100 fine
Unauthorized Pets - $250 fine
Excessive Cleaning (mud on beds, couches, rugs, or in showers/sinks) - $150 fine
Deodorizing Fee - $250 fine
Stains (vomit, urine, feces, or blood stains found anywhere in the unit) - $200 fine
