The Space:
Walk into a spacious living room with oversized couch facing a SmartTV with all of the streaming apps! You'll find a fully-stocked kitchen with a drip coffee maker and a dining table for 8 to your right. The back side of the house holds two bedrooms (one with a Queen-sized bed and the other with two sets of bunk beds). There is a full bathroom with a walk-in shower in the back as well. In the north west corner of the home is a large master bedroom with a King-sized bed that opens up to a gorgeous beachfront patio. Perfect for people watching while enjoying your morning coffee! There is an en-suite full bathroom (tub-shower combo) attached to the master, as well. Laundry machines and beach equipment are located in the one car garage!

Access is completely contactless; you'll be given a personalized door code 2 days prior to arrival.

The Neighborhood:
Mission Beach is the quintessential Southern California beach town. Enjoy several miles of long, flat boardwalks for riding bikes or skateboards or just going on a stroll at sunset. Restaurants, bars and amusement parks are all within walking distance. And of course, the beach on one side to surf or the bay on the other for more casual water play (unless you decide to kayak, stand-up paddle board or sail...all rental options are just minutes away).

BEST ON THE BEACH- The only one I will ever want from now on!!

This place was amazing. The location is exactly what I was looking for, right on the beach with an amazing ocean view. I knew it was a great place when my 15 year old daughter and her friend immediately started taking video and posting online for all of their friends to see the amazing views. It was all new and fully renovated. It had everything we needed like kitcken supplies, plenty of towels, privacy between rooms, the list goes on and on. They even had the grill completely clean and ready to go when we got there. I didn't have to clean it or anything. The patio was unlike any other around mission beach. You could stay on the patio and still watch your children play on the beach if you're not the type to want to stay on the sand like me. I only have two complaints. First, my truck is a normal size 4 door Tundra and I was not able to park in the garage because it was too long, so if you own a bigger type truck be aware that you may have to park on the public parking like me. Luckily it was only about one minute walk away. Second thing, the hot water doesn't last long. I recommend you take showers, but not two people at once between both bathrooms because the water will get cold. So the garage and cold water situation are my only two complaints, but not enough to prevent me from staying here again. I went all throughout the boardwalk and i didn't see anything that came close to the patio, interior and location. Outstanding place, highly recommended to anyone.

Ambivalence

This is a beautiful beach house in a great location. It has an amazing view of the ocean, which is what was attracting to us. However that view is obstructed by very filthy windows. I understand it had a few days before my stay, but there was plenty of time to clean them before our arrival. They charge you a $250 cleaning fee. That should cover the windows. The bedding, especially the pillow cases need to be washed. Clearly there is a gas leak. A strong odor of propane emits from the garage, AND there is no hot water! The water was freezing we couldn’t shower. When I reported the issue the manager tried to guide me to fix it. I didn’t agree. Also the door to the master bath needs work. It’s a sliding door that doesn’t glide and has no handle. Several other issues are concerning but these are the main points. I’ve never been a complainer but I do want to bring attention to this in hopes that the repairs are made so that the next family has a more enjoyable time. Note: I will not be coming back.

Best Christmas Ever

I've Stayed at this location a couple of times now and it will be my go to place from here on out. Aaron is very responsive and property is in excellent shape. The bar is set high with this rental and with Aaron, can't wait to stay again.
