Vacation home "Rita's Haus am Meer" with garden, sea view, terraces - close to the beach

The holiday home is located in a quiet area, just about 80 metres from the Baltic Sea, in a small holiday home complex in Westerbergen Strand. It measures 75 m², spans two floors, and can accommodate up to 5 people. Private parking is available right next to the house.

On the ground floor, there are two interconnected bedrooms separated by a sliding door, featuring three single beds, a TV, and a guest bathroom. This floor also provides access to the west-facing terrace and the garden. An outdoor staircase leads to the upper floor, where you’ll find another bedroom with a double bed, the kitchen, the dining area, the living room, and the bathroom with a shower.

The upper and lower living areas are connected by the outdoor staircase. Two couples or older children often find this ideal; however, the house is not suitable for small children under 6 years of age.

The highlights of the holiday home are the terraces and the beautiful garden. There is a west-facing terrace and another sheltered one on the east side with a grill and a small outdoor kitchen. There is also an east-facing balcony, perfect for breakfast outdoors.

Surfers, kiteboarders, and other water sports enthusiasts can reach the water in just a few steps—it offers a great surfing spot. The house comes with its own boat mooring at the buoy in the anchorage area, which you can use free of charge. The water is deep enough for a dinghy or a small motorboat. Surfers who want to take a break are happy to tie up their gear here.

Bicycles or surfing gear can be stored in the lockable courtyard.

The water off the nearby island of Warder is no deeper than chest-high and is therefore warmer than on other stretches of Fehmarn’s coast. Surfers love this spot because they find the best conditions here in the standing-water area. Just one kilometre away lies Lemkenhafen with its excellent seafood restaurants and marina. There’s also a surf and kite school there.

The neighbouring village of “Gold” is only about a 10-minute walk away. Away from the hustle and bustle of the surfers and kiters in this town, you can still enjoy the secluded bay of Westerbergen. Relax and let your mind wander.

A lovely excursion takes you to the Flügge Lighthouse, which “winks” at you every evening with its beacon. You’re sure to never forget the unique sunsets.

In the neighbouring village of Lemkenhafen, just 800 metres away, you’ll find restaurants, cafés, and, of course, the famous “Aalkate”—a bike and boat rental shop, a surf and kite school, and the Mill Museum. The nearest ALDI and EDEKA are in Petersdorf, about 4 km away.
