As your host I hope you will enjoy the vintage charm of this lovely brick cottage dating from 1936. I lovingly rehabilitated it over a two year period to bring it from a state of complete neglect back to its original and updated beauty.

Heathcliff Street is in a designated Historic District. The houses are protected under the parameters of the Historic District Commission. It is located just minutes from the center of Uptown Charlotte. With bus and trolley 3 blocks away, or a quick Uber, bike or scooter ride, you will be at the epicenter with restaurants, sports and entertainment venues, museums and much more.

You will enjoy the cozy living room with a vintage style electric heater in the fireplace. Comfy antique couch and easy chairs make for enjoyable TV time. You can use my Direct TV or Prime plans or your own internet apps. Transition onto the enclosed all-season porch for morning coffee or dinner for two.

The dining room has a table for four, wine bar and dimmable overhead lighting.

Move into the fully renovated and expanded kitchen with new appliances including washer/dryer, stove, microwave, toaster oven and disposal. Fully equipped with utensils, cookware, bakeware, blender, mixmaster etc.

Then, head into the newly added coffee bar/work station with charging block for all your devices, looking out onto the deck where you can relax in comfy deck chairs and tables stored in a waterproof deck box.

The backyard provides green space and shade trees.

The two bedrooms are furnished in a vintage/contemporary style with luxurious bedding and plenty of closet space. The master has an ensuite bathroom (that used to be part of the kitchen) and walk-in closet. The second bedroom has a gorgeous bathroom adjacent in the hallway with tub/shower. Both bedrooms have ceiling fans with remote control.

At night the driveway and entrance doors are lit with solar motion lights and path lights that lead you up onto the deck for back door code box entry. There is ample off street parking behind the house. For unloading luggage, the side porch door has just a two step entry and is well lit to see the entry code box.

Heathcliff is a one-block, dead end street. There is a greenway at the end of the street for walking, running or biking. There are other parks within walking distance and public transportation is just three blocks away.
