We really enjoyed our stay. Our favorite spot was the outside deck. A portion is covered with a fireplace. We spent every night outside. The view from the deck is beautiful! There is a bird’s nest in the rafters on the deck by the bedrooms, which we didn’t care about, but there is slot of poop in the area. Cleaning crew might need to scrub it.(that’s why I rated the property a 4 cleanliness) The master bedroom is huge! No closet in the room which is a bit odd. I think they converted the closet into a washer and dryer area and had the closet locked for the owner’s storage. We didn’t care as we just used hooks in the laundry room and everything else went into the dressers.Our only recommendation for the owner is to upgrade the AC- it struggled to keep the upstairs room comfortable during the day. The bunk area is hot- need to figure out a way to add some ventilation. :) We didn’t call about it- just bought an extra fan.Bathroom’s were clean and roomy, the Water pressure in the shower needed a boost- perhaps take the flow restrictors off. One caveat- if you are not a fan of fireworks outside your door- skip going on the 4th. We took our pups with us and one really struggles with the noise- fireworks were going off everywhere (not just at the marina which we had hoped for).Overall our experience was a 5. Felt like a nice cabin in the woods. Recommend anyone looking for that experience.
