Located in the mountains of Almuñecar, Cortijo La Abuela offers a peaceful 110 sqm vacation home perfect for up to 6 guests seeking a family retreat. You will find 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, along with a fully equipped private kitchen. The property features air conditioning, Wi-Fi suitable for video calls, TV, video on demand, fan, washer, and dryer. A highchair is provided for families with young children.



Step outside to enjoy your private garden with mountain views, featuring both covered and uncovered terraces plus a balcony. The private outdoor pool includes safety fencing for children's protection, and you can make use of the private grill and outdoor shower. The property offers a playground spanning over 50 meters and provides toys and books for children. Adults can relax in the chill-out area with sofas, high tables, and dining table on the terrace.



Parking is available with 2 shared spaces at the property and additional shared street parking. The entire property is fenced for maximum safety with children, and events are allowed. Shared bike storage is provided. You will find a vegetable garden and fruit trees on the property, creating an ideal environment for walks without leaving the grounds.



The property is located 20 minutes from supermarkets, bars, shops, and Almuñecar beach, 30 minutes from Nerja, and just over 1 hour from Granada or Málaga. Please note there is a cat with kittens on the property who will be provided with food. Additional baby equipment such as a crib can be provided upon request. The location has limited cellular coverage, with internet access available through Wi-Fi only.

Private summerhouse with beautiful view

We have stayed in the house for 14 days. It is very quiet place with a lot of privacy. Few cars passing by – so totally quiet. The house has all necessary things we needed, well equipped kitchen, as well rooms and bathrooms. House is very cozy and there is plenty of room in it. Good space for families.The host Eva is ready to help at any time. She always answered within short time, easily to be reached.We have enjoyed the house terrace with many small corners where you can sit and relax. There is a possibility to sit on the terrace under the roof in the shadow, as well as in full sun. Outside barbecue is nice and working very well. We have spent good time there preparing food. You can make barbecue while enjoying evening sun.Terrace with the roof has very big eating area – this was nice for our family of 4.Swimming pool has been perfect for kids – warm water in it. Around the house there is a possibility to go for a morning walk – app. 4/4,5 km walk in the mountains in between avocado trees. Beautiful view.We have enjoyed our vacation in there

Tranquilidad, buenas vistas y exterior muy cómodo.

Pros: Una casa muy coqueta, la dueña muy atenta y los gatitos súper cariñosos y respetuosos. Mi hija a disfrutado mucho en el parque. Cons: El único pero puede ser que el WiFi no llegaba hasta la parte de la barbacoa y a veces se "descolgada".

Lugar espectacular en un sitio idílico para desconectar.

Pros: La ubicación perfecta y el sitio espectacular para unos dias para desconectar y relajarte. Como el trato con Eva (la anfitriona) que en todo momento esta pendiente de los huéspedes y super acogedora.
