The Lykkehus is a historic thatched cottage with approximately 120 m² of living space that has been completely renovated. The foundation walls date back to 1784. It stands on a 1,200-square-meter lot with a stunning view of the surrounding fields.

The house has one bedroom with a double bed (180 cm x 200 cm) on the ground floor and another bedroom with two single beds on the ground floor, accommodating 2–4 people. It features an open-concept country-style kitchen equipped with all modern conveniences and an adjacent dining area. From there, you enter the living area with a cosy sofa and a fireplace. The open gallery leading to the upper floor gives the house a spacious, airy feel. The luxurious bathroom is located on the ground floor with a view of the garden and features a toilet, sink, walk-in shower, towel warmer, hair dryer, and washing machine. Thanks to its many windows—some of which extend from floor to ceiling—the house is very bright and bathed in sunlight from sunrise to sunset. The spacious terrace leads out to the garden, where a large apple tree provides shade in the centre.

We would like to politely remind you that barbecuing is not permitted, as this is a thatched-roof house and special safety precautions must be observed here.

The Lykkehus impresses with its high-quality furnishings, offering exclusive comfort and very bright, freshly renovated rooms. The bed in the master bedroom is equipped with luxurious English pocket-spring mattresses to ensure a restful night’s sleep. We’ve made every effort to renovate the old cottage as perfectly as possible. This includes raising the ceiling height on the ground floor so you won’t bump your head on low ceiling beams, as is typical in old cottages. When it came to the amenities, we prioritised high-quality bathroom fixtures with a spacious shower and a comfortable, practical kitchen.

The ground-floor bedroom (14 square metres) is furnished with a double bed (180x200) and a wardrobe. The kitchen (10 sqm) is equipped with a 4-burner stove, an electric stove, a refrigerator, an oven, a microwave, underfloor heating, a ceramic cooktop, and a dishwasher. The dining room (40 sqm) also has underfloor heating.

The living/dining room (50 sqm) is equipped with a satellite/cable TV, a fireplace, and underfloor heating. The bathroom (8 sqm) also has underfloor heating.

On the ground floor is the second bedroom (10 sqm) with two single beds (90x200).

A linen package (bed linens and towels) is included per person.

The terrace (70 square metres) is equipped with patio furniture, a parasol, and a beach chair. The garden (1,000 square metres) can be used for games, sports, and sunbathing.



Check-in is available from 4:00 PM to midnight, and check-out is from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
